I haven't witnessed such blind panic about our transfer activity in a long time. People are becoming hysterical for no good reason. Our current squad is more than capable of negotiating the qualifiers. We have plenty of time to strengthen in due course, before the window closes. I have no doubt we will bring in a few top quality players.

I think our fans are getting a bit caught up in the media frenzy trumpeting the supermarket sweep of signings happening across the city. Apparently they signed 6 world class players! 5 of which nobody has ever heard of. Meanwhile they grasp at straws trying to guess our targets. In the absence of any leads, or more precisely leaks, they continue to fabricate stories.

Everybody needs to take a deep breath and calm down. We will get to the end of this window with the relevant quality added in the positions we require it.

The thing is lads, we have conducted our buisness this way for yrs, you would think posters would realise this, its obvious to me that hayes is back up for sinclair as that's the position he has played at aberbeen, but like i said we could sign ronaldo and some fans would still moan, we had it with sinclair ( not good enough, too expensive etc) , and look how that turned out, if we were in the last few days of august and hayes was the only purchase i maybe would understand, but for posters moaning just three weeks after season finished dosent surprise me, we've went from best fans in the world to bitchiest fans, all because we haven't shelled out dosh yet, I can see our Ed in a darkened room listening to Enya soon if this keeps up lol,

We will invest when the time is right and if that is after the qualifiers so be it. This team is more than capable of making it to the group stages. Look at the difference from this year to that of this time last year. Was hoping we would have got Paddy in that would have calmed everyone down a bit. I think its important we build from a position of strength but don't want us buying just for the sake of it if it means taking a bit of time to get the right players in then im happy with that. Looks like numerous players leaving aswel which is good.

Last year the team had to Gel together. Now they have and we are treble winners. A completely different squad although we have the same players.

A bighandforjeremybeadle, I am sure you are right it is eleven or twelve months since we were all desperate for new signings .
It's the same with some fans every season . This season we certainly don't need quantity but we do want quality .
Panty wetter so should remember we have Brendan Rodgers as manager and he has earned our respect.
