Just saw on Twitter that the Paradise pitch has started getting ripped up. If this fancy new surface really does help us play more fluently then we're in for an absolute treat!

This summer we're upgrading all the undersoil heating and drainage system and putting in the foundations for the new hybrid pitch being installed next summer.}

Cheers Ed. So this season should still be an improvement on the muddy patches we saw this season. I heard a guy on the radio explaining the hybrid pitch and he said it's just natural grass but with wee fibres added to the roots or something so won't look like a dog's dinner i. e. Hamilton or Killie.

Just a quick question Ed, if we don't have 12 weeks this summer, how are we going to have 12 weeks next summer? In fact when do we ever have 12 weeks?

Any idea of they have just ripped the pitch up or if you can purchase a bit of it? It would be a good money spinner.

Damn - I would have happily paid for a bit in a glass container!
