Hearing the news about MD ed, to be honest I disappointed but also realistic to know we can't baulk at 20-30m or whatever it is.
I said all season that if LG played same games as MD then LG would score more goals for me.
Add to that LGs great delivery and he plays week in week out in for me in SPFL.
I know Europe is not LGs speciality but he can do a job with right players behind him and who knows we might just get another top quality striker or 2 with the money.
For me if BR let's MD go he has a plan in place.
Wud be ecstatic if Roberts was included also.

{Ed007's Note - I don't think the plan would be sell Moussa and start with LG, I don't think Rodgers sees him as his main striker.}

In the interview with Sutton and BR selling club came up and BR said that it's about morals if you know we are keeping a player on 10 grand a week and you know he could be getting 80 grand a week could he be planting the seed that we could be loosing MD?

Thing is Rayman Dembele seems like the more important player in regards to age ability and champions league, he showed he's a force against big teams even within this current Celtic squad. Griffiths hasn't shown that for me. I'm not doubting Griffiths is an excellent striker but Dembele is a more important player for us in my eyes.

Such a pity that BR doesn't really have complete faith in LG, but as one of LG defenders on here when he first came, and impressing on doubters here how much he knuckled down and improved, I can still see that BR will look even with Dembelle for another CL striker. I just hope that both of them for whatever reasons do not fly the coup this summer.
