Hi lads

Can anyone explain to me why someone sent off in a league game can serve the suspension in a cup game but a sending off in a cup game means the player misses the next cup game?

To me there should be no issue with Brown on Sunday as it is a completely different competition. If he was sent off on Sunday he would miss the final, not the league games prior to the final.

Been wondering the same thing myself!
I also can't get my head round these people moaning about the appeal, when half of them have either done it themselves or support teams who have. Like that moronic Neanderthal Alex Rae. (Who someone on another site quite brilliantly likened to Nosferatu! )

Is it not because its the same association that runs the league and the scottish cup Niall.
