Bit gutted with the result, would of liked the 3 points, but realistically might be just what we needed and probably deserved.

They came out and had to give it their all - which credit to them was a hard effort. However don't by any means think a gaps closed or there's similarities in the teams - as some deluded rangers fans think. This was the same situation in the semi-final last year. It was a day where Celtic didn't give it there all, we started playing a lot of long balls and giving possession away cheaply, whether that's to do with rangers effort or just not our day. If the team had stepped the game up by even an extra level we know the game would of been out of sight. (For any ex bear's reading, this isn't an excuse its football some times teams don't perform to their standard on the day)

As for the penalty we all know it was a penalty. It wasn't given, but the game should of been put to bed within the first half so we didn't need to wait for decisions like that. No excuse.

Now, as I said earlier, why that result was necessary. I believe we've had the kick up the Erse that was needed. Come the semi-final the team will know complacency is not an option. We need to kill the game off instantly. I recon the next derby will be the one where you see the gap shown again.

Hail hail.

Game changed after taking off Armstrong our best player, Sinclair should have came off before Forrest just not his day. might not have given them penalty but denied us stonewaller anywhere else on the park that's a yellow.

Agreed, armstrong said his calf's were tight after the game. If they'd still have got the draw, we would be asking why he wasn't subbed. Better to have him long term.

I agree Sinclair wasn't at his best today. Quiet. Maybe subbing him was the better option (a wake up call) . Even moussa for griffths was the possibly the right move but players like Sinclair and moussa need only that one chance to change a a game. Its a risk taking them off.

As much as it pains me to say but Forrest should have stayed on and Sinclair should have been hooked not that Forrest did a lot but Sinclair was anonymous today I would also have just swapped Dembele for Griffiths when we went to two up front I felt it gave sevco the upper hand in midfield Robert's didn't seem up for it when he came on sviatchenko was all out of sort's all in all a bad day at the office for many hopefully the disappointment will spur them on for the cup game as no matter the result was today it would have had no effect on the title race, however, we need to be better in the cup game if we want to complete the treble.
