Did you see him on Soccer AM?

He was woeful.

{Ed007's Note - He'd fit in well on there then.}

Hold on there, he may have wasted his career - that's his look out, but let's not forget he scored one of the most memorable goals for us on the biggest club stage I've ever seen.
I seem to remember countless thousands enjoying the moment.
Wasted talent or not, he and we will always have that.

hes arsed about at every club he's been at that's how he's had every loan cut everywhere he's been, who cares if he scored against barcelona? his attitude stinks, he should take lessons off kieran tierney in applying yourself at training and taking in what you are taught when you are a young man coming through the ranks.

@Island Celt that's the mentality from some supporters that held club back in recent seasons. Yeah he scored against Barcelona but what did he do apart from that?

He's been given so many chances it's not true. What a complete waste of a promising talent.

That goal against Barcelona seems to have been the catalyst for delusions of grandure and bad attitude instead of the inspiration and opportunity to develop potential and become a Celtic star?

My friends son played in the same team as him as a kid and apparently he was a nob back then too.

Sorry no
My point is that although he has wasted his talent I enjoyed that goal and night immensely. Tony scored the winner, that's what I remember and enjoyed- how is the memory of that holding the club back?
Winning a CL group game against Barca?
Tony watts story is similar of a lot of Scottish talent/ too much too soon, massive ego and lazy attitude (and ultimately not enough talent to back anything up) .
If you can't seperate the memory of the Barcelona night from the character then that's up to you. For me slagging him off holds no value, I couldn't care what he does now that he's not at Celtic, but that was some night when he struck that ball into Barca's net.
Hail hail.
