Looking at the players BR has been chasing i wonder how many of the development team will be released in the summer. BR seems to want power pace and strength alongside skill. The development squad have a lot of skill and some pace but do they have the commitment in training to add strength and power. Nesbitt has been a stand out for Morton this year but has not developed physically, Henderson too has not looked any stronger, Ajer has gone on loan he too will have to do more work in the gym. I am sure lots of these players will go on to have successful in average careers in pro football but if they don't knuckle down and do the hard work they won't get near this celtic team

I get the feeling he just doesn't fancy Henderson, especially when he's talking up the chances of guys like Boyata before him.

Like Henderson and would prefer him to McGregor and Bitton but he hasn't seemed to impress BR or even the previous manager, so he must not be projecting or applying himself in training etc.
However if we are looking at CL standard signings he may well have to go out on loan or sadly for me - leave Celtic.

Think domestically mcgregor does fine and always good for a goal young henderson plays more central and he's no chance of getting in before broony Armstrong and Bitton never mind eboue

I like Henderson but I think McGregor is better all round player and don't get the dislike. In terms of Domestic football he's one of the best in the country- and you need guys like him.

If any young kid especially at Celtic doesn't have the commitment now to train hard and become the best they possibly can, then are they worth keeping?

I don't agree with the view he doesn't apply himself I just think he is not of the level we want to be. He is a good player and would get into every team bar us.

We have moved up a level and want to go further, he can't get a game now, if we bring in another two players guys like Bitton or McGreggor and possibly Forrest who us still too inconsistent will go never mind Henderson.

A club needs dependably utility players especially Scots, I believe they are the backbone of our identity. I'm not saying 'keep inferior' players because they are Scottish, but we shouldn't be so quick to write them off in favour of a foreigner who may only want to be be here for the short term.

Macregor, Henderson and Christie have potential and I would hope we give them a chance to develop and give them a run - especially if the league gets wrapped up early.

i think christie is better than mcgregor but then again i think hayes of aberdeen is better than mcgregor, not that i would sign hayes we need a better class of player for the CL, i even think gms is a better player than mcgregor.
