Hope everyone had a merry Christmas. I was wondering, if we manage to go on and win the treble this year and smash the league by loads of points. Does anyone think br will start to get bored if there is no significant challenge next season and maybe look to head down south? ! The way we are looking at the minute and with investment over the next few windows we look like we will only get better. At the minute I'm really enjoying us playing and would love to see us go on and get 10 with br in charge. But someone, probably the Huns have to put a challenge into us for him to be kept interested.

BR's a young man Quinn and I think he'll be here for 10 in a row no question. He knows that will write him into the history books. He's also on record as saying it not about wining trophies or not winning them it's about coaching and developing players. No better infrastructure than Celtic have to do that. I think there's a bigger question there though about Scottish football sorting itself out in order that other clubs can mount a challenge. I think Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen etc. have that potential. Wouldn't bet on the Huns being around long enough to do it though 🍀.

Taking his (potential) achievements at Celtic out if it, there is another factor: Liverpool.

Given he has already managed at the top end of the EPL, I don't think he'd leave for a middling team down there. In other words, unlike a lot of players/ managers who see Scotland as a stepping stone, he's already done it. Now, that's not to say he won't go to a European team, or even be offered another crack at the top end of the EPL - though a Man Utd fan, I'd have to ask, who is bigger than Liverpool that he'd (realistically) get?

And on the slim chance a top English/ European come for him, it'll be on the basis of huge (relative) success for us.

I think Mr Rodgers speaks fluent Italian and Spanish so he may not be looking to the cess pool EPL.

Quinn it's swings and roundabout and eventually we will be looking up at someone, let's keep our feet on the ground and just enjoy every trophy, every European campaign and every slap down we give the newcomers from govan as they come . it's a work in progress and we are not a great team yet, we are just the closest Scotland has to one, by a huge distance 😊.
