I think a good start to raising some money for the Chapacoense team would be the next paradise windfall. All ticket money goes to the club and we don't make a draw. Selling the clubs jerseys was another idea somebody mentioned I for one would buy one. Hail hail.

I think that after what has happened it should be a full scottish football thing as mich as we are rivals and have erm I'll call it discussions we do usually work well together in times of grief, absolutely heartbreaking for the familes friends involved.

I can't understand why somebody would disagree with my comment? Could somebody enlighten me!

Perhaps people don't think raising money is appropriate? The Brazilian and Colombian governments and fa's and FIFA along with airlines can sort that out. I would rather hold a minutes silence/ applause and fly the clubs flag at all matches this weekend to show our support.

{Ed007's Note - I thought the idea about Celtic starting to sell there jerseys was one of the most bizarre ideas I seen about it all, for a start the money would go to Umbro, so basically all Celtic could send them is the profit the Club would make from sales, someone suggested if 10,000 fans bought them at £40 a pop we would raise £400,000, we wouldn't unless Umbro gave us the kits for free.
A lot of people don't understand how kit deals work, New Balance give Celtic circa £6 million a year to supply and sell our kit and unless you buy your top from the Club's official outlet Celtic don't get an extra penny from shirt sales buy it from the Club and they get the retailers' profit.
Hypothetically speaking high street sports shops could sell 100 million Celtic jerseys and Celtic wouldn't get an extra dime, although I'd guess there would be bonuses if sales far exceeded the expected projections in the initial contract.}

I wonder would there be any merit in Celtic as Champions playing the rest of the SPL in a friendly . With people encouraged to pay what ever they liked and that every club accept donations from fans who cannot attend.
