Excellent performance. Every bit as good as the 5-1. Finishing could have been better but credit to their keeper. Brown was immense. Jozo was superb. Armstrong was great off the bench. What a finish from Moussa! World class goal.

{Ed007's Note - Has Armstrong bulked up a good bit or were my eyes playing tricks on me? I was delighted to see him get on and play so well, now hopefully he can get a run in the team beside Brown rather than Bitton.}

I thought that too. He brought so much energy to the team. I think he'll get a start midweek.

Armstrong definitely looks like he's been in the gym.
I would have him over biton any day.
Can't stand how biton pulls out of a challenge.

My only gripe today and it is a minor one. Thought Roberts should have came on as Forrest was not having much joy today as he was denied space.

Other than that I thought we dominated the match. Brown was immense.

Was going to say has Armstrong been on the steroids.

{Ed007's Note - He definitely looked bigger to me.}

He had a decent game when he came on, could be proven wrong about us buying him. Bitton definitely needs to be challenged.

Now it's over I can look back and see how easy it was, although during the game I wasn't enjoying it as much. It looked like one of them days where they were going to snatch a goal. Having said that it was impressive how strong we looked at the end considering we had a really hard game on Wednesday while they rested up. I thought brown was superb today, even taking the booking to tell Thompson what he thought of his performance. Armstrong looked really good as been already said. Forrest and Biton are not doing enough at the minute . Don't know what game the magic man was watching if he thinks they r getting near us .

Couldn't agree more ed biton looks unfit and uninterested. Also think as soon as griffiths came on we made a load more chances as he linked up really with with dembele.

{Ed007's Note - I've stuck up for Bitton because I think he is technically a good player and the way he can slow play down and keep the ball is important in Europe at times but his recent form has been really poor.}

I was very happy when we signed him and although he started with a bang, he lost his way a bit after the transition to a huge club and was he was also continually played out of position, which didn't help.
At present we are as good as a man short, when Bitton plays and I think Armstrong will get better playing and learning alongside Brown.

Guys I am clinging to hope that some club will pay us for both Forrest and Biton and we can reinvest money into better players.
As for today, although we dominated, and all they wanted was to keep score down, I thought we were a little off thepace, especially Sinclair. First half the chances he and Rogic missed made game harder than it should have been.

Got to agree on Bitton, he is becoming a weak link for us. Seems to be very pedestrian in the big games and shirks the challenge. I also thought that Forrest had tried all he could and introducing Patrick Roberts with 15 to go may have produced more chances. Apart from that, a good all round performance against a team probably no better than St Johnstone or Inverness Caley. Bring on the sheep for our first of the treble!

{Ed007's Note - The only way we would have lost today was if it had went to penalties and it's a lottery. TRIFC offered absolutely nothing as an attacking threat and as you say, Rab, they're no better than an ICT. They set up not to get pumped again, it's as simple as that but we dominated the game for long spells and if the Sviatchenko goal had been given - or any the earlier chances went in - we'd have went on and won the match quite comfortably.}

Think it's got to be between Armstrong n Henderson to take up that position in front of biton, on today's display u would think Armstrong will get the nod. He's a good player full of energy n certainly took the ball n was positive with it. Longer term Armstrong n Henderson central for me would be a good midfield.
Good result n performance, although again we could have pressed a bit more at times although over the context of the game it wasn't much n we controlled the game as I'd expect against that new team.
Brown, dominant n pressed well n was good on the ball, felt rogic was unlucky to come off n said on the rumours page Roberts should have come on 4 Forrest but other than that I couldn't n wouldn't complain. A semi final won with the final against the sheep who I feel we will be too much for on the day. All in all a good days work, sevco put in their place again.
Hail hail.

At half time hartson hit the nail on the head when he said "only one team are trying to win this game"

And that team won!

{Ed007's Note - I missed him saying that but there's no arguing against his point.}

Time for someone else to have a run in the team over Bitton. Will only make him a better player losing his place and having to work hard to get it back. The game changed when Armstrong came on he looked a unit and had tonnes of pace about him. Just needs to work on his finishing still.
