To the people callin our players rats n dicks remember commons is still a celtic player and I find it quite shocking to hear that from a (celtic) fan. Go back 2 seasons n without commons we may have lost the league to the sheep. He carried us for a while. Although I do believe his time is up now.

Sparky, you are 100% correct, well said, on the same note If you saw my previous post re Steven Gerard, I think BR has told him that KC will be out before he arrives, this only makes me more convinced that SG is comming in Jan and KC will be out the door on loan to Hibs on Jan 1st.

I'm not defending Commons off field antics, but in my opinion he was one of our better players during a time when there was very little entertaining football being played.
The dull football we played in the last couple of seasons wasn't because Kris Commons was playing, it was more because we had a manager who was just out of his depth
Leigh Griffiths said after the home match against Hapoel, that the difference between this season and last, was the manager, he said that last season we would have crumbled after losing the 2 quick goals.
You can argue whether Commons should have criticised Delia, but he was only saying what most of the fans thought. If players show no emotions, we slate them for not caring and just being happy to pick up their wages.
I would much rather have players with a bit of passion, I feel if Ronny had shown a bit more fire in his belly the standards might have been a bit higher than the awful football that we played at times.

Really does make me laugh honestly! Not having a go Malika but people on here slaughtering commons for being past it and to slow and now we're waiting for him to leave so gerrard can come in! A guy who's way past his sell by date and is as slow as a week in the jail! So we lose commons on 20 grand a week and bring gerrard who's older and would be on double that in! Makes sense to me!

I don't think ambrose is a dick even after all his 'moments' he tried and was professional even when under a lot of criticism. Almost everyone knows what commons is. I did cheer when commons scored but not because he scored but because the team scored. I still stand by my claims that he is a dick. I've always thought it and my own feelings coupled with Ed007s facts about his behaviour off field and the 'games' he is playing off the field I think it's very.
' un-Celtic-fan-like ' to give this guy the apparent adulation that some people are giving him. Yes he played yes he scored some goals but he's a DICK!

I used to like Commons when he was a Professional footballer . I remember when
S G was a pro. Footballer too, now I believe he is excercisinng playing in an ageing team in a league for has beens .
Maybe Celtic should sign Fowler to help Griffith& Dembele, make as much sense as going for S G to replace non playing k Commons.

Ur spot on Pedro, u cheer goals because it's a Celtic goal, the players come n go but it's the club we support n the players n managers who r there at any different season. The club n the fans r the constants.
Again I will reiterate that commons has had 1 n maybe half a good season over the piece, he was a bit part player when we had hooper n stokes, he had that 1 30 goal season n even throughout that he had a big impact on the team, negatively I feel. The fact he rarely if ever passed when there was a passion he's looking for a shot, didn't track back n moans constantly, n he hits more off target than on. Lennon admitted it himself they had 2 play 2 suit commons n his ego needed massaged, that's embarrassing n some of the nonsense he's been involved in or done at the club is just wrong, don't need to go into it as ed007 has informed people more than once on the character of commons. Overrated by fans n himself, nakamura, lubo, those were players n rogic looks to be another, as I posted previously better than commons already.
