Excuse my ignorance but am I missing something regarding Calum Paterson?
I don't see anything that would remotely suggest he would walk straight on the team? He's an average player in my eyes.

I haven't seen many folk suggesting he'd walk straight in Jones but he's definitely got lots of potential. He's only 21 and he's already played about 150 games for Hearts and scores plenty of goals into the bargain.

Why do we need a player with "potential"
Janko has potential he may not be flying the now but he has potential, I thought we need someone that can command a starting place and he's not it.
