Uefa have announced the new CL format for think 2018/ 19 season, top 4 clubs from England Germany Italy and Spain all waltz in regardless of not winning there league, and all the other nations bursting a gut all season to win there league to qualify, absolute disgrace if I was DD or PL ad get together with all the other nations and set up there own gig with there own TV deal and let the 16 so called premier clubs get on with it and we'll see how long it takes before they're sick lookin at one another, somebody from sky this morning quoting UEFA saying it's based on merit WHIT.

It is a disgrace like.

The fact that Italy is getting 4 teams in despite the fact they often struggle to get their third placed team though the qualifiers shows the desperation.

The continued corruption and questionable decisions made by FIFA and UEFA is a joke.

Every other federation/ association should just decline to join next year and let 'the big four' have their own little tournament. See how they get on with that. But unfortunately money talks and teams would rather have a small bit of a big pie, no matter if it is just the crumbs or even licking the plate.

They should withdraw and set up there own euro comp, it must be doable uefa would rubbish themselves a 16 team tourney would be boring same teams year in year out, interest would wane and TV audience would suffer due to boredom I for one wouldn't subscribe if my team was missing.

What does that mean for other qualifiers? Do we still only play champions or can we not play teams who finish 2nd or 3rd in France, Portugal, Russia etc?
