Any news on Roberts and Eric will they get some game time this weekend.

{Ed007's Note - That's exactly the same team I'd pick, Stan except I would have it like a 4-1-4-1 with Bitton sitting in front of the back four. It looks like Rodgers is playing Brown in a more box-to box-midfielder role which he was until Neil Lennon played him as a DM.}

Think forrest has done enough to keep starting place. don't like to see player just back from injury starring a big game like this. same with oconnell and eric.

Wouldnt disagree with that Ed it's roles both Bitton and Brown look comfortable in. The energy Brown showed on Wednesday night was remarkable. Talk of a so called marquee signing but looking at that midfield 5 i wouldn't want to drop any of them. Why not let the guys we have grow as a unit whether it be a midfield 4 or 5 to suit each opponent.

{Ed007's Note - And with players like McGregor, Armstrong and maybe Johansen to come in and mix things up it would take a special player to break into the team imo and there's no use buying anyone who isn't better than what we already have. McGregor and an fit on-form Johansen are miles ahead of any midfielders in Scotland outside Celtic Park and Armstrong would walk into any SPFL Premiership side.}

I'd start the game with Forrest who is playing really well the now and bring Roberts on during the game, no need to rush the boy.

Just back from a nice holiday in Cyprus and hadn't been able to see highlights any of the games until now. Have to say the positivity around the team on the whole has been refreshing. The attitude and dig from the players is superb and the turnaround in some players performances is excellent.

Have to agree wholeheartedly with Ed about McGregor. I think he is a great player and totally underestimated by some fans. Leave the slating of homegrown players to the other mob. Get behind our own.


Last point on the so called marquee signing. Why is he not signed up now? If he really wants to play for us he should join now not if or when we qualify for CL. To play for our club is an honour and I only want players who want to be here and understand that the bread and butter is the Scottish league and midweek trips to Dingwall, Inverness etc.

Isn't great there are so many different line ups and formation opinions now for the last few years most of us picked more or less the same teams because there was so little quality to pick from

Almost like when we beat barca. we nearly had 2 players for every position.
