Right guys when was the last time a player left our club on loan and then came back and made a real positive impact on the squad?
CallIum mcgregor is only one I can think of and he slips the fans a wee bit.
Anyone else?

Technically stokes mate.
Went on loan to hibs then left club, I would class that as a positive impact on squad lol.

Other than that man I honestly can't think, it's a good point.

Kev 83 I think letting a player go out on loan is of more benefit to the lending club, than to developing player for his club . A player loaned out is likely to be in shop window and his club are more likely to be able to sell him or move him on.

Was Charlie Mulgrew not contracted to Aberdeen and not loaned to them .
Anyway the number of players Celtic have loaned this century must be over one hundred the number who have come back here and made a contribution would be less than 10.

Charlie mulgrew went to wolves and Aberdeen before resigning on a free for us.
