The number of people slagging dembele already is ridiculous. Like I've said before no one in our club gets a chance before the fans start slagging players off. Why not give the boy a chance before you land him next to pukki or A. Balde. He's played in 4/ 5 games roughly. He's played well and created a lot of chances from what I've seen. Just needs to sort his touch out a bit.

Ken he will come good. He is 19 so it's going to take a while maybe months for him to get to grips with playing at Celtic. He is also in a team finding its feet under Rodgers. If fans want to have a go at someone look at Brown who told us last season he was injured so could not perform. What's the excuse this season? We should be looking for brown and the old heads to be helping dembele. Dembele is work in progress. Think Griffiths needs to lead the line.

He should have had a penalty last night and it would have been him to probably take it which would have settled him down and he could stop worrying about getting that first goal.

{Ed007's Note - He's still playing catch-up fitness and sharpness wise. Dembele will score at least 20 goals this season, it will be between him and LG for Scotland's top scorer.}

That's the problem with twitter, seen a thing online about dembele not being able to lace up Baldes boots. I pi**Ed masel, couldn't believe it, young guy comes in, still adjusting to new team mates, his play has been decent considering he's only been here nearly 2months, yet already he's being branded a Balde. Give the boy a break, give him a chance and support him. Like I said in another post, give him time, let him play his football and he will come good we need to be patient and not expect too much too soon.

He should've been eased in its hard enough coming here as an established player.

Totally agree Johnnymac, seems like a good few people on this site are shallow minded with some of there comments. Give him a month or two and he'll be kicking it in the net no bother!

I haven't seen anyone on here saying anything negative about the bhoy.

Sorry my bad dn30 brain cells spouting his usual guff, should have known 😞.

Early days for the Bhoy, however I was not impressed with his rather childish hand clap when his strike partner scored. We are a team young chap it's not about you!

Fab1888 aye makes a change from usual gash we hear from you. Never saw anything constructive you have posted. 6 games he's played, not one sniff of a goal. Looked out his depth against Lincoln Red, last night didn't look interested. He will be another addition to a long list of duds.

Thought you were brighter than that DN bud. He's had plenty sniffs. The goals will come.

Is Scott Brown not part of a team finding it's feet johnnymac? Brown's been good so far, being asked to play almost a sweeper role by himself at times. As for Dembele, he'll go on to be great. Not might, but he WILL. And those calling him a "diddy" this early will be hanging their heads in shame.

From what I've heard before he joined he was a wonderkid who had every attribute going, watching him so far I don't see it. Granted it's early and shouldn't judge too soon but like dn30 said really should have looked better against red imps but then again so should everyone 😂.

JimTim from what I've seen, just don't see it. i'm not buying stories likes of Chelsea were in for him cause if he was that good, without a doubt they would of bought him. Obviously i hope i'm wrong but i'm hardly ever.

to early to tell imo, spurs tried in jan to get him DN, and he's a regular goalscorer in a league that is far better than ours, plain to see he ain't got his fitness and sharpness yet, but in all fairness its july, reckon he will be a player when it all falls into place.

Dn30 everyone is entitled to make an opinion but to label him another dud is poor.
Was at parkhead for imps return and he played OK, especially since he only joined recently. I've no doubts he'll prove you right, let him get up to speed, goals will come for him.

Since we kicked off against red imps, the only players who have impressed me are Roberts, O'Connell and Tierney. The rest have been bang average however we are playing better as a unit. Think we look more solid. So I don't think Dembele is playing any worse of any better than players who have had 2 or 3 seasons at the club. Time will tell but that's what he needs. Time.

Dafabet, I have read that it was only the second that B R was walking past that Dembele was seen sitting down . I am told that he was on his feet clapping and shouting enthusiastically.

Fab1888 do u actually believe half the crap u post? That's it Rd should have come out n publicly slated Ambrose and because he didn't, along with the so called best fans in the world, you try and get at Rd 4 that.
Unbelievable!
