Poor old Ronnie, some bad boys are saying nasty things about him, he feels "like a criminal" "cannot sleep at night" and "could not enjoy a visit from his daughters" bo hoo stop it Ronnie I am in tears here.
I was cringing hearing all this, a manager of Celtic who has the backbone of a jellyfish, I was brought up on the Lisbon Lions can you imagine Big Jock coming out with such drivel, he would have sorted any journalist who dared criticise him out pronto.
Now we know why the team is so poor all the players are laughing at him. I only have one message for deila, GROW A PAIR.

Dont think it was sympathy he's looking for i think he's just trying to let the fans know he cares as much as we do,

I agree Tim. If he feels like not getting up so much, do us all a favour and Chuck it. Sleep as much as u want Ronnie. Concentrate on your family and move home to Norway that way you can at least do one job right. Be a stay at home dad.

some of the comments on here are brutal. the pages are brilliantly run and i enjoy reading the threads when the joking begins but some of the ways in which people choose to criticise the squad and management team just isn't banter. it seems to give certain people a buzz when the MSM bangs out a shitty headline that looks bad on the manager and half our support gladly marches to their tunes and takes a dig at him as well.

4.) 12 Feb 2016
12 Feb 2016 19:20:34
Steff88 there's no way way he cares as much as we do! He said after the Ross County defeat nobody in the stadium was as disappointed as he was which I found insulting! If he really cared he'd realise he's not up to the job and go.

It's all quite simple EBhoy - a 5 year old could see it, we don't need headlines and it doesn't really matter if it's all sweetness and light or brutal like you said, it's not good enough! Because you don't rate someone doesn't equate to hating them! After a tough start last year, which Ronny was entitled to, at least to a point, the team improved and finished well. This season has been hell though, and it's not like we're playing brilliantly but being unlucky or lose to top teams in Europe, - everyone is getting better except us! The manager has had plenty time to implement his ideas, - fast, pressing, passing football, well we don't press properly, can't pass, we aren't fitter. Caley Thistle pass the ball better than us, that is coaching! I like John Hughes, he hasn't spent a bean but I wouldn't want him as manager! Because Deila did a good job in Norway doesn't mean he will do the same thing at Celtic. These teams were part time 20 years ago and many of them play on plastic pitches and aren't even wholly football club, they are multi sports! It's a different world! I'd like a manager who has been at huge clubs and been under huge pressure, with a real aura, especially with our team being so young and average!

So who do all the Ronnie haters want as a Manager?

7.) 12 Feb 2016
12 Feb 2016 20:51:32
Des av not read one persons post that says they hate Ronnie. He's a decent bloke that's in over his head that's all. If the pressure is getting to him that much that he can't enjoy his life and family then the games up for him. He'll end up driving himself up the wall.

8.) 12 Feb 2016
12 Feb 2016 21:31:23
So who do the Ronnie dislikers want as a new manager?

9.) 12 Feb 2016
12 Feb 2016 22:42:11
Don't think many dislike Ronny either , because people don't rate his capabilities to manage Celtic doesn't mean you hate or dislike him. I liked Tony Mowbray but it didn't make him a good enough Celtic manager Try again Des third time lucky

12 Feb 2016 23:43:35
DesH you'll no doubt have noticed the continued avoidance of your question.

11.) 13 Feb 2016
12 Feb 2016 23:57:23
Or maybe TPP there just aren't any Ronny haters or dislikers to answer the question. After all it was the haters and dislikers the question was asked to

12.) 13 Feb 2016
13 Feb 2016 00:57:00
Al answer your question. Loads of people could take his place. It's all opinions but ad like Mick O'Neill. He's a man that can get the best out of average players and we've got plenty of them. By the by a was all for ronnies revolution but like it or lump it we're running out of time. If the Huns don't catch us soon the sheep will. Don't get me wrong if we're stuck with him till the summer then Al back him, I'd never boo the team or the manager it's not ma style. But if we don't have a new manager by August a won't be back. It's not all about this year for me but the manky mob are nowhere near as far behind as ad like them to be so tick tock.

{Ed007's Note - Michael O'Neill the ex Brechin and Shamrock Rovers manager that's worked part-time for the last 5 years? So what barrel are we scraping now? What the hell could he offer in the way of player recruitment, scouting or even the day to day running of a club CFC's size? Jesus wept!

Who should replace RD? Dance around the semantics of that one.

13 Feb 2016 01:46:34
edinbhoy has made a great point above, and I agree with every word. Most sense on here in a long time! I also think change is needed management wise, but tone it down a wee bit guys.

You can be as pedantic as you like. You knew then, and you know now, what he was asking and you avoided the question.

There ain't much to say that Bond didn't just say.

Spot on as usual.

13 Feb 2016 12:46:31
Don't think its a question of haters or lovers of Ronnie, it;s more a case of those who think that Ronnie is'nt a good manager and those who think that Ronnies the best manager ever and that he can do no wrong, he is above all critiscm and the poor performances of the team are all down to the board not buying ing in superduper players, if only Ronnie was allowed to manage a team of superstars then he would soon win the doubters over, as for who would replace Ronnie, I think you could pick any one of half a dozen SPL managers who would probably do a better job than Ronnie, although I would prefer a continental manager, who has experience of turning around an underperforming team.

17.) 13 Feb 2016
13 Feb 2016 12:51:50
A don't think we could do much worse than Ronnie at the moment every word that comes out him makes me cringe these days. He's beat it's as simple as that. He reminds me of Tony Mowbray when he talks. Not a leader no way.

18.) 13 Feb 2016
13 Feb 2016 14:16:28
Ed your the one always bangin on about Ronnie not havin a say in player recruitment. So what makes u think oneil would need to put any input into scouting/ recruitment n u seriously think anyone bar PL runs the club? Al tell u what he'd do for us, he'd get the players pulling in one direction.

{Ed007's Note - I've never said that that RD doesn't have any say in player recruitment. So all we need in a manager is someone that gets players pulling in one direction, is that it, really? Why not give the job to Peter Grant or Roy Aitken, Tommy Boyd would also get the players all pulling the one direction. O'Neill is complete novice - even compared to RD - who has practically no experience in the day to day workings of ANY football club or team and you think he'd be able to do the CFC job, why?
I doubt even Jose Mourinho could get Kris Commons pulling in any direction except his own.
Thankfully it looks like O'Neill will be staying in his part time job for the next 2 years at least (phew).

13 Feb 2016 14:55:25
Yeah that's all well and good Ed - but he's an Irish Celtic fan.

{Ed007's Note - That old chestnut eh?}

20.) 13 Feb 2016
13 Feb 2016 15:15:39
Poetic no one brings that old chestnut out as much as u mate.

21.) 13 Feb 2016
13 Feb 2016 15:23:34
Ed so Ronnie gets a say then does he? Well the dross he's had an input in should be a sacking offence in itself then eh? Why do u give park so much stick and let rd off Scot free if he's part of recruitment.

{Ed007's Note - Because the problem arises from who has the final say - not who has input.}

22.) 13 Feb 2016
13 Feb 2016 17:16:26
Steph, this is what we refer to as a'callback'. Either you are aware about the conversations I've had on here before regarding the 'chestnut' in question, and are being disingenuous with your response; or you honestly don't know and are commenting on something you know little/ nothing about.
