Kris Commons is not a dead ball specialist lol think he's scored one free kick and that was a deflection against Dundee Utd if IIRC. Reluctant to put Mulgrew there as well think he scored a few early when he came here against Motherwell, Hibs and Sion but he's not been consistant at them over the years at all. VVD isn't bad at them and I feel pretty confident when he steps up for them he's got great technique definitely the best free kick taker at the club imo atm although Griffiths showed at Hibs he can ping a few.

Agree with the rest of those names although Petrov, Alan Thompson and wee Lubo were great FK and deadball takers.

Nakamura though takes the best for best dead ball specialist for me though and doubt he will ever be beaten. Best Free kick and dead ball taker inn the world imo at one point. Immensely accurate.

Surely has to be naka, followed by lubo, then Thompson . Larsson my hero but free kicks he's not at that level. Similar to his penalties as well.

cant believe only one person has said lubo, does nobody else remember the right foot straight over to the left foot at motherwell? I'm not talking about the corners he done regularly, he pinged a right footed shot off the bar then we got another freekick about 40secs later and he hit with his left which the keeper pulled off a decent save. just me ok lol

Jc naka pvh

Naka's goal vs United was the best free kick in memory, and more importantly, the most decisive. Was that the year we made it out of qualifying? Anyway, we got to slack off half the world footballing support for months on that one.

Pierre for me. Then lubo then naka. Henke's not even close, ad put Maloney above him for free kicks.
