I can scarcely believe the fallout from the aberdeen game, towards lennon, the team, van dijk, the referee. So what - we got beat, we lost a couple of goals what is the big deal?

As far as i'm concerned the unbeaten and clean sheet runs were becoming a hinderance to our progress as a club. At the end of the day - who really cares if we make it through a SPFL season unbeaten. I'd much rather see us rotate the team, give fringe and young players a chance and get ourselves in better shape for the UCL qualifiers.

Guys like Calvin Miller, Fillip Twardzik, Amido, Fridjohnsson, Pukki, Griffiths, and many others need to be given a run and a chance. the league is won so let's try out a few different things - who cares if we lose a couple of games. And Forster for me needs to be taken down a peg or two - he is still far from convincing at cross balls as we saw twice at tynecastle recently. i'd like to see zaluska get a run for a few games, what would we do if forster got injured or (more likely) sold - we'd need to rely on a keeper that has barely played for 3 years.

We should be using this time to experiment a bit, weed out weak players - blood in youngsters. Even in a few of the games recently we've sat on 1-0 wins as if trying to protect a clean sheet record - nonsense as far as i'm concerned, would much rather see us win 4-2 or 5-3 or something.

I complelty agree with all points made. I think lennon wanted this unbeaten season for his own personal gratification, I for one am glad it has gone. If lennon had of played the strongest 11 all season to ensure we went unbeaten then we would of had a team of knackered players.

With the qualifiers starting so early for us we need to be contantly rotating the squad, the players on the fringes of the starting 11 should be good enough to win. If not then simple, get rid ASAP.

If we fail to qualify next season I don't want to here the old excuses of it was a long season last year and with these qualifiers we have started so early. The board decided to play a meaningless tournament mid season which was pointless and lennon hasn't given much of the starting 11 a rest either.

The unbeaten run became a burden that was too heavy for this team.
The manger made it a priority as each of our other 'priorities' fell by the wayside and it was all that was left to prove something to himself.
It is no coincidence that Lennon saw it as a personal competition with Slug McSteakbake and the vast majority of supporters would have preferred at least one more trophy and to be still in Europe in some capacity.
As far as blooding youngsters, we have let far too many go out on loan while refusing to play Balde, Pukki and Boerighter (when fit) while sticking by players who are off form or maybe carrying knocks (Brown, Commons and Stokes for a while there).
The squad has never really been utilised for most of this season and that's why many fans are worried about next season.
