I may be in the minority here. I thought Meling was dynamite in all the games against us for Rosenberg, stood out like a sore thumb.

However I think Taylor is more so what we need atm. Boli (who I'm not writing off yet at all) was very highly rated at Rapid as an attacking fullback as well, performances getting better with minutes but Taylor I think gives us something different.

Taylor from what I have seen of him does his job in defence first and foremost and especially in Europe I think we will definitely need that the way we play under NL. I'd go as far as saying if he was signed earlier he'd be my pick for tomorrow.

Time will tell but I'm very happy after yesterday's announcement. I'm happy with todays. And I see Wanyama still hasn't signed Brugge deal yet, if we could somehow pull that off it (unlikely I know but still possible) would totally flip a previously underwhelming window into an epic one. HH.

Medical late on Sat night, Hendry leaving on loan and youngster permanently plus £1.5m.
He might make squad for game tomorrow along with new RB and winger we have signed on loan.
Can’t help worry that we hope 3 new guys can play a part or that we are actually relying on them when we have had months to get squad together like they had and have.
If they score early on I think it’s going to be a long day, on the flip side if we can take the lead I can’t see us leaving I I Ibrokes empty handed.

GGGG, Taylor would be more assured and experienced in the Scottish game, and Bauer would be better in his natural position than Ajer, if Ajer can play then that would free him up in centre defence which would be great for us. The new winger will be class but I still think we go with Johnstone. All the new boys have the chance to become heroes straight away and we will see what they are made with. I hope Taylor goes in if he’s signed already. We need to get a consistent defence sorted after this game, that’s should be the foundation of any team. Rangers have that but they are suspect at the back as well. If we turn up tomorrow I genuinely believe we will take this game. We would be to much for them. It’s a game for players to show there character.

I just hope the boy can defend. A novel idea for a Celtic defender I know, but there you go.

We simply need to turn up. no excuses. Last seasons games there were a joke. Too many players went into they’re shells. To a man they need to go out there and from the first whistle be right in about it, if they do that then we should do ok, if we sit off them and let them dominate and invite them onto us defensively it could be a long day. Very frustrated we’ve left it this late in the window to get a RB and LB in, especially Taylor who plays his football 20 minutes down the M77.

Agreed mate, hope Mikey gets played in natural position he has a point to prove and is in good form.
Can’t see us sitting in and trying to counter as we would be playing into their hands letting them pin us back.
Think we will go toe to toe and outscore them.
