Apparently Arsenal back with £17.5m bid for KT. With initial bid being £15m and is apparently wanting £25 you would expect £20m to be the magic number now it's went up to £17.5m I'm starting to believe he might actually be sold.
I'm surprised Brendan isn't matching that tbf.

There should be no negotiation. He’s got 4 years left on his deal and he’s the best talent to come through our academy since McStay. We should set a price and not accept a penny less.

Especially when Palace knocked back £35m for BiSakko. Is he worth double KT? No chance.

Heard from a very good source KT wants the Arsenal move to happen, .

Wether KT wants the arsenal move or not is kind of irrelevant, he’s on a long term contract and while no one wants this to become nasty or a pantomime, absolutely no way should we sell ourselves short. This apparent £25 million bracket ( which I still find cheap) should not be negotiated. If that is the figure lawwell has set it must not be diluted for no one. And reading these reports about certain fees with possible arsenal players coming our way, like others have said, firstly are these arsenal players willing to come to Scotland? Secondly are they any good? And thirdly what wage bracket are these guys in? For me if tierney does go he goes for the full asking price paid in one lump sum, no player swaps no instalments one big pay day end of.

If the boy from palace is worth 50 mill then arsenal should be told the same fed up with the arrogant English thinking we'll accept peanuts it happened with virg and Viktor.

greengenie, I have no insider knowledge but I do have a feeling you're right. There's nothing wrong with the lad wanting to move to a higher standard of football. He has been a magnificent servant to Celtic and you can see in every game that he plays with his heart. He'll always be a Celtic fan no matter where he goes and if he does leave I'll wish him well.
It's up to the club to make sure we get the right fee for him. HH.

If he didn’t want it to happen then Arsenal wouldn’t be wasting their time bidding for him. The biggest obstacle to this deal has always been whether arsenal will meet his asking price.

Lenny and the Hibs players are not our concern and its all rumours and most of it will be nonsense.

In relation to Burke he did play because he wasnt very good! Missing vital open goals v livi and the deceased!

The boy is very raw all about pace he will be playing for a lower division one clubs v soon.

Each player has a price No point in quoting loyalty We are in a league that is a stepping stone at best If the price is right and the player finds it interesting then we have to go along with that KT is a great player but I wouldn't blame him if he left for a big team in England he IS a Celtic man through and through but he needs at some point to try his own ability If that time is now then he would go with my thanks and blessing. We would not attract any decent player to our club if we just rejected good bids from England or any other top league sadly that is the position we are in because of the league we are in.
