Rumours of 23 year old wolves player Dominic Iorfa close to signing a pre contract. Plays CB or RB and was on loan at Ipswich last season.

Shame for Ralston who has been patiently waiting for a chance and has done very well when called upon. Always thought KT and him would be a great full-back pairing for years to come?
Hope we get shot of Gamboa, Compper and other excess players this window as well so we can accommodate better quality CM and CB when the time (and price) is right as well.

Saw this online. They don’t think he’s very good and are involved at Wolves.

After Rogers comments re us actually spending money on a defence, all hope of this ever happening has gone. Even if we get players, it’s obvious they will be either loans or players clubs don’t want.

I was just putting up what they were saying about the lad. I know nothing of him and was neither agreeing or disagreeing. I was slightly concerned that it’s abother hope project if it happens. He was highly rated a few years ago but has lost his way.

Are we putting our 10iar and qualification for the CL in the lap of hoping a young guy is better than fans of the club he is at think he is. They didn’t even want him in their pool for this season. Hardly gets you excited does it?

I'm not pointing the finger at anyone in particular but some people are really getting too annoyed/ excited without any foundation. If it's a genuine rumour then no problem but if we're going to be putting up every name that is mentioned in the papers then it kind of dilutes the validity of the content on the page, don't you think?
How about keeping it for player links that have some genuine credibility attached to them? No wonder Ed007 goes quiet during transfer windows! HH.

I always take posts with a pinch of salt. If there's substance to it Ed usually comments on the thread and gives us his input the fact he hasn't tells me it's rubbish. As is the Porto B or should we stay C player that's a RB too. BR letting the board know he expects us to strengthen "In a number of areas" A RB has to be one but where else if he's came out and said we aren't signing a CB in this window?

Bob the Cat are you being serious? If all that was posted were rumours that are backed up by credible sources then it wouldn’t really be a rumour page.
If it was just mentioning players we have already been linked with in press then what would be the point?
The beauty of this page is the mixture of rumours from a credible club source, to my neighbours pals Mrs knows a guy that told him he seen or heard this is what it’s all about.
Whenever it’s too far fetched we can quite rightly shoot it down based on finances or probability or even try and justify why it might be possible.
If you think a rumour is bull then either ignore it or comment why that for me is what the rumours page is for.
Nothing wrong with dreaming about landing a top player as sometimes they actually come to fruition.
