Ed, I know you have said previously that you expect McGinn to be a Celtic player before the window shuts however with him traveling to Villa today, do you still think so? Personally I would still be surprised if he wasn't a Celtic player however is a bit worrying that he went down to Birmingham.

{Ed007's Note - McGinn is and always was leaving Hibs in this window, if Celtic had agreed a fee with Hibs as I expected they would he would be at Celtic now. If Celtic can't agree a fee with Hibs MCGinn has to see what else is out there, McGinn was never going to wait to sign a pre-contract and stiff Hibs and St Mirren.}

Brendan has already stated his disappointment at the situation allowing other clubs to go in for him when we had the chance to wrap it up quick.

Yet if it all fails then the board will still be defended. Tbh if they fail Rodgers this season then I can see it being his last year. Won't blame him either.
