Why would it not be a BR signing?

Absolute nonsense.

{Ed007's Note - £280k I think it is.}

Cheers Ed so all going well we wouldn't be talking a world shattering fee for the Boy what call back options will City have given the suggested option to buy at the end for us.

{Ed007's Note - They sold Aaron Mooy to Huddersfield for £8 million and a possible £10 million, obviously it won't be at that kind of level but I'll take a guess that it'll be over £3 milllion anyway, which actually could end up being a bargain if the kid kicks on as expected.}

You reckon this will finally end any chance of us signing Roberts Ed or was that unlikely anyway?

Just noticed Rodgers saying although he hadn’t considered it, if he’s still at city when the English window closed it would give us a huge advantage.

{Ed007's Note - I think Paddy might be a little surprised and disappointed at the level of teams showing interest in him.We know he is very confident in his own ability and probably doesn't fancy a Pub League relegation fight or even worse playing in the Championship.}

Takes me back to my cheating championship Manager days when you sign the players on free transfers for nothing and sell them for millions only difference being we are relying on someone else to be the honey Trap. The way the clocks cultured is shaping up there is no reason why the lad if he was worth it won't stay.

Wouldn’t read too much into the fee City are paying for Arzani. Same owners so doesn’t exactly mean a great deal in terms of cash changing hands and might have been low on purpose to ensure City comply with FFP rules.

{Ed007's Note - Wouldn't it be a more expensive fee to comply with FFP? £5 million would make it easier to meet the FFP Regs, City need to justify spending not income.}

After last season I can fully understand why the interest in Paddy is so low
At. his age he must be playing regularly to get notice and for clubs to pay decent money.

I was talking about the £280k City are paying Melbourne. He’s worth a lot more than that.
