Thought gamboa was great last night maybe one or two silly mistakes but considering he hasn't been playing reg over the past few seasons but generally a solid performance.

Apart from that wayward pass across our defence aside, I thought he was excellent. He needs to cut that out though because against a better team it could have caused a goal. The main disappointment last night was our mid to front performance. First half especially when our passing, touch and movement was dire. Sinclair still looks off it, his touch at times was woeful and with young Morgan soon available he needs to uk his game or he will be warming his arse on the bench.

AEK for me are an unknown quantity, I have no idea how good they are. I hope Boyata is back, but Gamboa would keep his place, his speed is a massive plus and he is a tenacious little fecker, which I always love to see.

It was a nervy night and in the past too often we have crumbled, só relief was the main emotion. These qualifiers are murder and reinforces for me the need to tool up to meet the challenge.

Let’s hope we have at least a 3 goal lead to take over there.

Livaja is a dangerous player for them, 13 games 8 goals in European competitions. I think they've lost there best striker and Centre half partnership that helped win them the league so that is a benefit already. We may have Dembele/ Griffiths/ Boyata/ Simunovic back during these ties. Much stronger players and a stronger bench compared to the Rosenborg tie. Still think we need another winger brought in (yes I know we have MJ, LM, SS and JF) .
