Supposedly we're "battling" Newcastle for Uruguay playmaker Giorgian De Arrascaeta who is valued at £18M. If that's his price then it's completely made up or he's not coming to us 👍🏻.

He has an Italian passport according to Transfermarkt. wouldn't need a work permit. If the money is closer to £9 million we may be an interesting proposition for him. Im sure Suarez would rave about working with Rodgers.

I can't see it personally. Not with the squad atm. Maybe with the forthcoming chat we may look to offload Allen and Christie? And with possibly Mikey Johnston off on loan we will need someone capable of playing behind the striker in any position and signing McGinn too.

With Liam Hendersons club folding I can see him going back to Hibs for noting which might make the McGinn transfer a bit easier.
