For me he shouldn’t be saying that. Any keeper coming in won’t be happy to sit on the bench for the next 12 weeks. If that is the case I would be happier just sticking with one of our own youth prospects on the bench.

Nothing wrong with the that! The guy was player of the year when he signed for us! His distribution is so much better than Gordon! He just hasn’t had a chance.

Was hoping for a new better keeper. Should have known better. It's over to Dorus. This is his chance to show he isn't as bad as we thought. I wish him well.

NiallH he can’t come out and say I don’t want De Vries as number one because then his confidence is shot if we don’t get who we want. He’s more than capable of filling in now that he’s settled.

Agreed. I was happy with Zal on the bench too as he gave me a heart attack when he was on the park.
I suppose for me it depends who he brings in. I was expecting someone a bit better than Kello or Kiraly who have been mentioned (as jokes) .
I was hoping it might be a Ward type on loan with a view to buying in the Summer and him becoming the number 1. BR has just lowered my expectations that it will be a stop gap with Gordon retaking the number 1 slot and staying there next season.

I expect we will sign a no 1 keeper in the summer. Im not as sure as some that Craig Gordon will be back.
