I take every thing that comes out of sky with a pinch of salt! Marseille were over playing the tribute act and they just jumped into paradise on Saturday nite on the way to the airport for a chat about MB! Bit to convenient for ma liking!

{Ed007's Note - I posted a couple of weeks ago that Marseille would be approaching Celtic about Dembele after they lost out on Giroud. At some point over the past week Celtic and Marseille held a follow up exploratory discussions to try and figure out the viability of anything happening regarding a Dembele transfer, no actual fee was discussed so I'm assuming the price is still the same as Chelsea were quoted.
Andoni Zubizarreta was there and it is because of the situation with Bacca at Milan they have moved things forward regarding Dembele. These talks could force Milan to change their strange stance regarding Bacca.}

It was inevitable that he would move on at some point but it highlights how well nigh impossible it is for us to build and keep a great Celtic side - even when we have a top class manager. If he does go to France (hopefully after the CL quals) the cost of any decent replacement will be over inflated because we have cash in the bank, but my biggest concern would be the exit door opening for other top players like Armstrong, KT and others if the price is right?
Before the season I had resigned myself to losing Roberts and probably Dembele - but any more would be tragic.

Are Milan not wanting to part with a target of Marsillia and to get that target they are now putting MD on their list instead?

{Ed007's Note - Marseille will have a list of strikers they're interested in, Giroud was one, Dembele and Bacca at Milan will be on it too. With Giroud now seemingly staying at Arsenal, Marseille and Bacca have agreed the personal terms of a contract but Milan general manager Marco Fassone wants to sell the player now and not in a years time after a year on loan in France.
If Bacca doesn't move to Marseille - Lazio have now shown interest - they will push on further with the interest in Dembele. These transfers are a complicated business at this level and there will be plenty of shady folk sniffing around trying to make quick buck off Dembele but as I said unless there is guarantees made regarding playing time Dembele is more than happy to stay at Celtic regardless of the millions dangled in front of him.}

Cheers for the info ED. thought it all seemed a bit convenient that Marseille just happened to pop in for a chat after playing the deluded! Lol. would find Marseille a strange move for dembele if I'm being honest, no doubt they'r a big club but they've struggled the past few years! I know they'r supposed to be getting heavily invested in but just thought moussa would end up at one of the top teams! Like u said but If they promise him game time maybe he sees that as his next step to the top!
