I see on sky sports news that ac milan are in talks to sign dembele.

Seems to be on various sites but they're talking 27 million which would be too much to turn down. So long as it's all reinvested in the team.

With chelsea and dortmund also interested hopefully a bidding war can start and drive the price up even further, dembeles been good for us but that's crazy money for a player we've only had a year but replacing him won't be easy.

If it's true they've bid over 25 million then we take it, it's really as simple as that! Love big moussa to bits but we can't knock that kind of money back! But agree it's a must that Brendan gets most of that to spend! U heard if this is genuine ED? And what's the latest on wee Hayes?

Has a bid even been accepted for him to be in talks? I thought AC had just had a €60m bid accepted with terms agreed for Morata too? Will be same scenario of Moussa wanting first team assurances.

Around £30mil is a good deal for us. The fact he has been injured 3 times in the last 6 months suggests it might be a good time to sell. If that was to become a regular pattern there could be no takers next summer. Good luck to him. We move on.

Im thinking that's maybe including add ons as well Tim. If we hang off and he gets in the national squad his value will only get higher. Its a risk though. Definitely get a sell on clause on him for sure.

Forget about the 500,000, Dembelle might have cost, that's nothing to do with his value now, look at the money (crazy money ) , that lesser players go for in England and Europe, why should we accept less money just because he is playing in Scotland, if Virgil van Dyke isn't going for anything less than £70 million, why don't Celtic do the same and start the bidding for Dembelle at £70 million.

I think we are in for a underwhelming pre season boys, we have had a high, but with dembele for the off, Roberts away etc. we are laughing at rangers and Aberdeen being weaker, well hate to say so will we. End off. There is no way lawwell with sanction rodgers all that money. I think Rodgers will expect that, but this is where the supposedly impervious relationship gets tested.

Who'll replace dembele? Has to be someone of quality, there will be names linked but no doubt it shall end up with a last minute scramble for adam rooney.

Until we accept a bid it is surely all chatter. When a bid is accepted it becomes story. I may have missed something but thought it would go wild media wise if that happens . For my limited perspective this is a win win either way.
