Please tell me there is no chance whatsoever of the rumour about John Terry joining Celtic having any chance of being true. Alongside Diouf, the most vile creature associated with football ever in my opinion.

If he was willing to take the necessary wage drop, I wouldn't hesitate. Surely we need to look at guys of his experience if we want to improve in Europe?

Bit of a nob but a quality CB.

He's mentioned a few times he's a fan. wouldn't be for me but, we should be looking for a quality centre half and there's no doubt in his day he was! But that day was a long time ago, he's finished IMO. add to that he sounds and looks a first class baw bag! The players would need to keep their other halves away from the games to 😂😂😳.

Mikeb443, how is a guy that is well over the hill going to improve us for Europe?

Terry must be the latest player lined up for the tribute act for next season, remember they can sell 8 players and get enough money to pay Terry his weekly wage, the same idea they have for Wayne Rooney . Lol.

Kev83, I'm not so sure he is well over the hill, but if he's not right then so be it.
I personally think he still has a lot to offer any team. At times we lack solidity, composure and leadership in our defence and he's a man that has all that plus big game experience.

Kolo was a failed experiment at his age and don't see us repeating it with JT. I don't think we should be buying EPL has beens as it only adds fuel to their fire with respect to the standard of Scottish football in the Brexiteers opinion.

John Terry said that he chose to follow Celtic because his brother preferred the Huns, just to have a bit of rivalry - he doesn't have any genuine fondness for the club. On top of that, I have never ever seen why he was consodered even decent: his positioning has always been atrocious and he's about as quick as a pregnant blue whale. on land. And he's past even that.

Think he was shown up in international matches, to be another over hyped premier prima Donna.

Jfp1888, I not so sure kolo was a failed experiment.
I don't think we would have made champions league without him.
That last qualifying game he made all the difference at the end.
But there have been more failures signing old players from epl than successes.

I'm sure the signing of kolo was to help steady the defence short term and just to have his experience in and around the team . The long term was always to be part of brendans coaching team .

Kolo brought stability to the defence, when it needed it.

this is the same Rafael we got about Gerrard.

Brendan is building a young competitive team and that would be a backward step.
