DR running the story that Sevilla are in for Henry Onyekuru now. It seems to me that if we were really desperate to get him we would have paid the money and got the deal done quickly like we did with Kouassi. This story will run and run until the summer with a number of clubs "joining the race" and if he goes elsewhere in the summer, which seems likely given his attitude and behaviour during January, he'll have "snubbed" Celtic. IMO he looks a cracking player but we have the money to go out and get an established CL quality winger in the summer so it wouldn't be a massive loss.

He looks like a cracking player, somebidy we could realky do with. Was it him BR was frustrated about not signing? Possibly. As for the personality, big question mark for me. It could just take one schemer from the SMSM to literally make up that an EPL team are after him in January, and he might be getting a lift down the road from Odemwingie.

If moussa leaves in the summer and let's hope he doesn't this boy might b the ideal replacement and the next big thing.

Of course the gutter press will say he snubbed celtic. they'll only write this stuff so people buy their guff.

Mallythetally I think he's more of a winger than a striker but it would be an excellent signing from what little I've seen of him. Ed mentioned that his attitude had been highlighted to Celtic as a potential concern though and you can understand why. Like I said though, we're now in a position where we can afford a current big thing rather than the next big thing!

Agree, not an out and out striker but have not seen much of him. maybe brendan could convert him.

The lads been playing as a striker this year for his club! Scored the winner at the weekend against Gent. That's 13 goals for the season so far! I'd happily take this guy.

He has mainly been playing on the left of a front three Ice Man. Looks like by the time he scored against Gent though, that he was moved into the middle, once Sylla came off. It's good to have that wee bit versatility though, especially when trying to get a smaller squad.
