it was obviously a clash of personalities between rodgers and commons, it wasnt down to his footballing abilities as even at 33 commons is a far better player than mcgregor, forrest and christie.

Don't think it was about ability but more the style to be honest.

Must have had a clash of personalities with deila aswell. for me that seemed to be the end of him, never really got going again.

He's also far more disruptive self centred and lazier than those 3 put together.

I'm with kev 83 in that RD and BR have the right idea. Commons doesn't fit the high pressing, team passing game.

He might have a good goals return but I wouldn't mind seeing his shots to goals ratio.

I'm also with Campsie Bhoy. From bits I've heard he's disruptive and has his own interests ahead of the team.

Surplus to requirements.

Commons has a reputation at previous clubs for being disruptive and temperamental. BR obviously knew he would not fit into the work ethic or systems he prefers and it's better all round that KC moves on - either in stages or a clean break when it is convenient for both parties.
