Any truth in this Ed? Certainly more exciting name to be linked to compared to the others floating about this summer.

{Ed007's Note - There's definitely interset from us in Dembele and you're right about it being an improvement in standards but I think we could be priced out of any move for the lad. I'd be happy with Dembele over any other striker we've been linked with in recent weeks.}

That was my mistake too, I was thinking of Ousmane Dembele who just moved for about £25M. Too many of them. Almost as bad as Camara's lol.

That's a good sign then Ed, even if we miss out on him at least it shows we are after quality players. Hopefully he'll see that we can give him first team and european football which is a better option than sitting on Liverpool or Spurs bench.

This is a bit more like it! Noticed he was coming up to a bosman a wee while ago but automatically ruled him out. So i'm delighted to hear we're going to at least have a go. What's the crack with interest from your Liverpools, Spurs and Arsenals though Ed (s) ?

Fairplay there Ed only to be expected really. He might find himself being 2nd or even 3rd choice at the better BPL sides though.

{Ed007's Note - The game time we'd offer him is certainly a plus point in our favour. He played over 40 game for Fulham last season so let's hope the lad's not going to be happy, at 19/20, sitting on the bench at best at some EPL team after playing so regularly.
And let's face it, even being interested in a player like Dembele is night and day from your Danny Grahams and Steven Fletchers of this world. Wherever he ends up Dembele has the makings of a cracking player.}

Well that's the glimmer of hope i'm going to hold on to. I keep banging on about seeing proven players and experience signed but when the young players we go for have this kind of pedigree, it's much better than your Frudjonssons and Baldes. And a heck of a lot more exciting than Danny Graham.
