But he had a 5 year plan!

Heard from an extremely reliable source that brendan rodgers will resign by xmas and be replaced by the one and only malky mckay.

As much as I am really happy Brendan Rodgers is our manager I think Malky McKay did a stupid thing he has paid for it now. ( He who has no sin cast the first stone) Is every one that has slated the man not passed a bad joke about some one or a group of people? not directly meaning what was said about them just saying as a joke Maybe I am old school (not as politically correct) as some but I know I have but not meant it as harm to any person or group and I am sure a lot of people that have condoned him have done that to.
I just wish people would let him get on with his life he did not say it to the person Directly it was just meant as a joke
He did not Kill any one. AND I AM DEFINETLY NOT SAYING HE WAS RIGHT IN SAYING WHAT HE WAS ALEGED TO HAVE SAYED.

Tony, people aren't slating Malkay Mackay for the jokes he may have passed, it's more on his lack of managerial ability I feel. What has he done that tells you he should be manager of our great club?

Totally agree tony. Everyone's entitled to their mistakes. What was done in private should have stayed private. No good came from it.

I agree to an extent, but if you are a figurehead/ role model/ spokesperson for any institution you have a greater responsibility to act accordingly.
Obviously everyone should be treated the same, and we should all treat everyone as we expect to be treated, but if you in a position of responsibility you have to set the example.

I personally think malky is a good manager and agree with tony that he has paid for his mistake, but I don't believe he was the man for the Celtic job. Good luck to him anyway.

should Brendans misdemeanours be scrutinised as much as Malky's?

Aindoh- neither are as bad as Lennon's.

PTT what relevance is NL tot this discussion! you are coming across as a self righteous bore with in an insatiable hatred of the man. Let it go and enjoy the future at Celtic Park.

It's not his past actions that I'm glad he is not coming but the fact I do not rate him as a manager one little bit!

Grout64 what PTT said IS VERY RELEVANT. Topic is about misdemeanours. NL threatening physical assault towards women (and that's just one of many vile things this thug has done) is worse than what both BR and MM have done. PTT was just highlighting fact as NL was also interested in return to job

Theres a clique on this forum including yourself, who are happy to run through other managers yet it is forbidden to critise that thug!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Cheers DN30, you saved me saying it. It was about context and hypocrisy - which is why it was directed at Aindoh.

One thing though Grout, I think you are confusing me with someone else. I have no hatred for Lennon, let alone an insatiable one, nor am I constantly bringing him up.

PTT perhaps I am and if so I apologise. I am delighted to have Rodgers as our new manager, it's a better appointment than I could have imagined. I just think we should focus on that and not have it as an excuse to malign NL who was a great player for us and a successful manager. anyway it's been an excellent few days.

DN 30 you are so right everyone is entitled to their opinion. Mine is a man is innocent until proven guilty can you direct me to any convictions NL has for his thuggish behaviour? he is undoubtedly the victim of many crimes.

For your information I am not part of any clique my comments about RD never once referred to any personal issue or criticism. I only spoke about his ability in relation to managing the team. But I can say now to you I was right and you were wrong this is incontrovertible.

please also stay away from the caps lock key it is just bad manners.

{Ed007's Note - Come on Grout, Lennon publicly apologised about it all and was lucky to keep his job at Bolton over it.}

Fair enough Ed, I don't have as much knowledge about this as others. just out of interest and not to start a debate did he admit to making threats to harm this woman.

{Ed007's Note - Yes mate he admitted it. If he hadn't he would have been sacked. He also wasted money on lawyers and court costs trying to put a D-Notice on the story.}
