Celtic have apparently renewed their interest in Club Brugge central defender Brandon Mechele , would appear that VVD will go shortly .

I sincerely hope we reinvest the extra several million into another area of the team then. That £6-7m striker perhaps.

Ed wouldn't this lad be cup tied if he plays for club brugge? If he is a don't see the point in signing him.

{Ed007's Note - Mechele would still be eligible to play in Europe for us as he will only have played in the qualifying rounds for Club Brugge.}
