Why would we ever retire it? It's the Celtic No 7. It's a challenge to match those who have also graced it. Jimmy Johnstone wore it, and if it can carry on after him, then it can carry on after Henrik.

Exactly one player in a generation actually deserves the shirt number! But we never knew that HL would be the player he turned out to be! I will give ciftci every oppertunity to impress but the signing at this point is under whelming! But in RD I trust!

The number 7 shirt is nothing to do with how good you are, jinky wore it as he played rm as it was 1-11 in every game then, you had a lot of substandard players between then and larsson wear it and a few after. Its the player who fills ot we should concentrate on, not one person knows how good he will be here but he might just surprise a lot of people and become a legend here
