Neil Lennon is considering handing Nir Biton his Celtic debut in tomorrow's Champions League tie with AC Milan. The Israeli only joined up with the squad today, and with Joe Ledley's groin injury, and Lennon's preferred option of Charlie Mulgrew at left back over Izaguirre, Biton may fill one of the sitting roles, with Scott Brown likely to fill the other.

I certainly hope not.
Lennon stuffed up the tie in Kazakhstan selecting new recruits who had never played before for CL duties. He blows it with team selection at times. No one should walk into a CL game never having played with the squad before.
I believe the Juve walk over was significantly down to team selection and manager's strategy.

I smell a Sevconian with that reply. Go back to your own page and concentrate on the Ramsdens Cup and leave us to worry about the best team to play against the might of AC Milan in Europe, s premier club competition where newco non entities are not allowed to play. martyc1888

We could play Izzy at LB and Charlie at CM or bring Rogic into the frame. Might also depend on whether Matthews will be available. I was looking forward to seeing him getting a few games at RM in the absence of Forrest so fingers crossed he'll be ok.

Just wondering if you also think the win over barca and getting into last 16 was significantly down to team selection and the managers strategy?

Good luck tomorrow bhoys!

No name poster who was the new players in the Juve game? Chris30

I'll be surprised if Biton starts. As good as the lad might be I couldn't envisage him making his debut in such an important game. Ambrose and Van Dijk for me.

The guy isn't telling any lies about shaktar everybody agreed 2 new centre halfs, he didn't say there wer new players in the Juve game, he Thot tactics wer wrong and in the 1rst leg maybe we wer . Leaving a name what difference does it make

8.) 18 Sep 2013
Far more likely to play Ambrose or Mulgrew there than a lad who ain't played before.

9.) 18 Sep 2013
It will be mulgrew and brown in the middle tonight.i think stokes will be dropped with sammy through the middle and boerrigter and mathews in wide positions

@ mk bhoy, I will be surprised if Stokes gets dropped. Sammy is a UCL player but Stokes is playing well and deserves to stay in the team. He was often dropped by NL in previous campaigns so he needs to be allowed to get a run. Who knows what he can achieve with more confidence. SB

Fair enough I read the post wrong way new faces in Juve game, but that's why new signings were bought to play in Shakter, as for your no name comment if you going to leave posts I don't see the problem of leaving your names, for all I know you could be same person as your no left a name way your post bit sad if it is you, if u want a be negative post for the other side. A never said anything negative about you post m8, just that the opening post sounded quite valid to me. Most will agree 2 new centre halves shouldn't have been flung in with no game time 2gether, ambrose probably shouldn't have played home game against Juve.
The no name poster carry on a forget sometimees but a could change ma name everytime
