Someone asked about Season Ticket Prices. Season ticket's will go up £13 for next season.

I don't know about kids tickets but I really don't see them being £50 if anything I can see them start at £130

If the kids tickets are still low I hope celtic put more security at the gates as i'm sick of seeing large amounts of young guys aged between aprox 19 & 24 coming in with child tickets. {Ed007's Note - Can I ask how you know they are using kids tickets? A friend of a friend was pulled up at a match over it, he was mortified (as you would be) and it turned out to be an error on the TO part. Although he had paid full price on his ticket, when it was swiped it showed up that the ticket was a child's. He eventually asked to be moved because he was getting strange looks from people after that, even though nobody knew why he had been pulled.}

Ed, honestly, if I had nothing to hide and felt hard done-by, I would tell EVERYONE around me what had happened! I gave up my season book (after 13 yrs) because of the treatment I got from the TO. Their fault! But I missed Naka's goal! I now just spend money in the club shops. I am still doing ma bit! I think the matchday experience has gone to pot! HH YNWA!

There is a indicator with 3 lights above each turnstile a red for no entry, amber for child/oap's finally green for adults/full price. The stewards watch the indicator & it must be up to his or her judgement as to whether the person gaining entry is matching the description of a childl/juniour or oap when the amber indicator shows. I hope that helps 007. HH AbS

The cost of a ticket to watch the working mans game is a disgrace. Now I understand why it has gotten to this stage. It is not difficult to justify by the club. But this season it is and I will tell you why. I believe approx 30m will be banked by the club due to the champions league run. The club may also expect what 20m? in transfers. There is no way we will spend that money this year on players and thas a big relief. We know the club will use the money more wisely. We need bums on seats, we need to reward the fans. The immediate thought is let's buy a £5m player and give him 40k a week for 4 years then we will see goals and good football. In fact let's buy 3 of those types of player. Well do the sums. Very quickly most of the mony is gone with the transfer and wages. I have a thought. Why not buy a couple of young guys instead for a fraction of the cost and use this money to reduce season books for this season at least. Even 10m used in this way would substantially reduce the cost of watching a match at CP. the club has got to box clever here. The fans are the club its time that was understood. Sopotcelt.

OP Can I ask how you know about the season book rise? Do you work in the ticket office?. Can I also ask seeing as you know about the rise, how did the figure of £13 pound come about? And is that across the board as there is different prices of season books. DH

My company approached CFC 9 months ago to provide a cost effective mobile ticketing solution which has a host of features aimed at bringing a greater level of fan interaction and experience, it is also cost neutral to the club and in fact would provide increased match and non match day revenue, they are still considering it though I suspect they are feeling very comfortable with the CL money etc, Sevco on the other hand are well advanced in implementing the solution. :- (

I know the light system at celtic I take my 6 year old girl to games. but when I stand inside I see young guys coming in and an orange light going on and he's not under 13. he's at least 20.

why should we pay high price's for some guy to just bump the club out of money.

@6 There is a season ticket at parkhead for 18-19 year olds that get the orange light when you go through like mine, so when you see some guy who looks 20 years old in this situation he probably is getting in fairly.

I believe some people should mind their own business and concentrate on thier own doings. No point in moaning, if so then stop going. Its nobody elses business what the next kid/man or woman pay to watch their team if they wanna take the gamble then so be it, People that don't keep out of it,. ,. kbarry

Why moan about who is using the ticket. The attendance at park head has been low so more fans through the gates the better no matter who is using the season ticket. Hail hail
