Enjoy the day bhoys

Anyone know if Sinclair is 'out for a month' as some reports states, or is there a chance?

My team if SS is unavailable would be:

Gordon
Lustig
Eric
Joao
Izzy (shame for KT, missing the final)
Brown
Armstrong
Roberts
Forest
Rigid
Moussa

I would want to see LG coming of the bench for a goal, as he has been top drawer for us, turned his career/ life around and has really turned into a great player for us.

The dons will be no mugs today, we need pass the ball with speed tonfrustrate them. I reckon they will come out the traps with aggression to try and stop us dominating the midfield.
Rogic (if starting) will be key

Hail hail.

Should we go with Bitton or Armstrong in the middle with Brown
I think it should be Armstrong as he has energy he can support the front line and get back to help out the defence
Bitton on the other hand slows the game down (at the wrong times)
Doesn't shoot doesn't track back doesn't support the forwards
Oh and Busqets will tear him a new one.

You would probably have to go back to the 60s or 70s to find a better Celtic team than the Celtic team under MON that reached the UEFA cup final. Since then we have not had a team as good as that one, although with the right backing we may about to see another great team under BR.

Anyway, the question I wanted to pose, was, what players who have played for Celtic since MON left would have made it into the UEFA cup final team.

To make it easier to answer I have included a list of the UEFA cup final team:

Douglas

Mjallby
Balde
Valgaeren

Agathe
Thompson

Petrov
Lennon
Lambert

Sutton
Larsson

My team would be:

Forster

van Dijk
Balde
Mjallby

Agathe
Tierney

Petrov
Wanyama
Lambert

Sutton
Larrson

So only three changes for me and I reckon that team would have beat Porto.

Do you think Rodgers will rotate team for Dundee game, I personally think he should shuffle a few and I'd like to see griffiths get a start keep him firing need both strikers in good form. I'd go with

Gordon
Gamboa
Sviatchenko
Simunonic
Teirney
Brown
McGregor
Rogic
Roberts
Sinclair
Griffiths

What do people think?

With the weekends match fast approaching, who would be your starting XI?

I would go with:

Gordon

Gamboa Simunovic Sviatchenko Tierney

Brown McGregor

Roberts Armstrong Sinclair

Griffiths

Would rest Dembele, Forrest, Rogic and Biton but have them all on the bench. I think Rogic and Forrest especially need the rest as you don't want to run either into the ground as it wasn't that long away they were constantly injured.

Team for today:

Gordon

Gamboa O'Connell Sviatchenko Izzy

Brown Armstrong

Roberts Christie GMS

Griffiths

I know this is not our strongest team but still more than capable of beating Kilmarnock. Would keep most of our 1st choices fresh for Man City game.

I seem to be rather more optimistic than most! I think if we set up with a really attacking team, we will exploit their glaring lack of speed and ability in defence. Bearing that in mind, I would go:
Gordon (really unconvinced by DDV against Aberdeen)
Lustig
Sviachenko
Toure
Tierney
Roberts (Forrest has been good, but Roberts is a cut above)
Brown
Rogic
Sinclair
Dembele
Griffiths (if fit - if not, I'd play Forrest and
Roberts behind Dembele)
I think this would smash them and fancy us to get at least 5.
So looking forward to Brown putting that scumbag in his place as well.
The only danger man I can see in their ranks will be wearing a different colour to his "teammates".
