Evening all / Ed,
I just caught on radio earlier that Sion had been to the Swiss Courts today over their UEFA ruling.
What grounds were they in court for, what were they trying to prove ?
If UEFA have a rule about players' registrations and it's broken, how is that unlawful ?
Of course the Court was bound to find that it has no jurisdiction over that UEFA ruling. Mad.
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - Evening KB. They are saying the players trade is being restricted. It is getting more like a farce every time Constantin loses another straw that he is clutching to.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Lol. Which barristers were advising him ?
You would have to be a properly registered player, like any level of footballer would by the way, before your trade was restricted surely !
We're in the wrong business mate !
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - I don't think anyone advises him, I think he just does what he wants. He makes Mad Vlad look timid.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently the Swiss court could not rule on the case as it was out with their jurisdiction. Source Radio Scotland news 8pm.

I have just been reading Mark Hateley's article in todays Daily Record , the bold Mark is asking Craig Levein why he played David Goodwillie as a lone striker against Lithuania , and why he didn't play someone up front beside him , Mark maybe you should have asked Walter Smith the same questions for the last 4 years , then we would not all have been bored to death by his "Wattenaccio" dire back to the wall drivel , and perhaps Rangers might have won more than 1 European game from their last 26 .

Believable7 Unbelievable4

If you're a Rangers fan, why come onto a Celtic page ?, just say what you have to say on the Rangers page.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought GW did ok. I supose that Naismith was technically playing along side him. woould have liked to see Gw and Stephen Fletcher playing up front

David

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not a Rangers fan mate , i just thought it was a bit rich coming from Hateley , although Rangers' pi5h performances in Europe have actually fun to watch .

Agree0 Disagree0

Walter Smith took Rangers to a european final. Maybe we shud be looking at our own dire european record over the last 3 years.

Drew

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said drew, we cant win the league, and people cmon talking dung, haha

Agree0 Disagree0

All walter did was provide a smokescreen for how poor our game had become...anti-football as it was called but folk defended it because of that 'Euro final'.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hately like most other Scottish journalist where s**t scared to question the disgraceful tactics Smith produced, the fact Smith was never held accountable for these disgraceful tactics, let these tactics become the norm and allowed managers such as Levien who would never have used these tactics in the past for fear of being slaughtered by journalists and fans, to play this tactic and ruin football for everyone who had the misfortune to watch it,

This is Walters?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s legacy and i am delighted to see the back of this one tactic pony

It's all total rubbish , Daily Mail , Whyte probably has friends there thats why nothing bad ever comes from there about rangers.

King Kenny is unhappy of reports that it was liverpool who bid and rejects the claim .
Paper out today said fenerbache wanted him too before there deadline , Funny how they can name that club and every other club that was intrested in him but not this unnamed club.

what team would not put there name on to trying to buy a player , every clubs wants to be linked with players so why hide it.

no disrespect to the players but playing against Hammell , garry hay , considine or andy dowie is different to playing against Vidic , Ferdinand , terry or toure.

He has played well in scotland but he has to perform in europe before any top club offers that sort of money for him his last goal for croatia was against slovakia over a year ago so internationaly and contanently his still has a lot to improve

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Same goes for kayal and izzy, stop putting crazy valuations on these guys too,its the spl ffs, worst standard of football in europe now

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic have placed a valuation on the players . Rangers have every right to say Jelavic is worth 9million but no one has bid that for them .

Celtic have never said anyone has bid for the players rhey have said if anyone wants them the bidding starts at that price. there is a difference

Agree0 Disagree0

And your left back is worth 15 million playin against diddies every week, boring boring............

Bad news coming from a concerned fan.

Celtic supposodely rejected a 6 million pound bid from Everton for Gary Hooper hours before the window closed when they realised they were going to lose Arteta. I understand they do not play in the same position but the signing was to give the Everton fans a much needed boost, and more prowess up front.

If I was Gary Hooper I would think I would have to be at a top 10 English club in order to be called up to the first team squad and realistically get a game for England.

I mean can you really name an striker other than Wayne Rooney that is actually better than Gary Hooper?

Believable2 Unbelievable17

Haha so rooneys the only striker bettr thn hooper?
get a grip hoopers nt even the best striker in the spl.. oh and il say suarez.RVP,drogba even kevin davies n stevn fletcher r bettr thn hooper

Agree0 Disagree0

Playing for celtic got hooper in the england squad, and as you say who other than rooney is better? so playing for the hoops in europe (something he wouldnt get at everton) and scoring goals in the league will get him called up again

Agree0 Disagree0

Near sure he meant english striker........... but suppose you already knew that ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Gary hooper will never be a regular in the England team and he probably knows that himself. How will he ever leap frog Defoe, Bent, Agbonglahor, Wellbeck, Andy Carroll, Theo Walcott, Sturridge and Ashley Young are all probably better than Hooper.

Lubo67

Agree0 Disagree0

Jelavic , naismith , or kyle lafferty fir starters oh and samaras ha ha ha 4inarow

Agree0 Disagree0

Typical they talk a good game but cant spell lol the league is coming home watch out for the bhoy bangura boys class

Sportsmail can confirm that Rangers were offered £8million for Nikica Jelavic just hours before the transfer deadline last week in a deal that could have risen to £10m with add-ons.

We have seen emails directly relating to the transfer proposal — the subject of widespread scepticism when made public at the time — that was put to Rangers.

Asked to identify what kind of figure might tempt the Ibrox club to do business, those negotiations were followed by a further email from a third party, acting for an English club, detailing an £8m proposal with ‘incentivised payments’.

Those related to a further £1m, dependent on the performance of the striker’s new club, another £500,000 linked to individual appearances and one last success-related £500,000 slice to take the total to £10m.

Rangers rejected the deal put to them on behalf of the would-be buyers — who Sportsmail have agreed not to identify — at around 7pm last Wednesday.

It was understood that business could not be concluded on the final day of the August transfer window as it left no time for Ally McCoist to line up any kind of replacement.
Jelavic remains one of Rangers’ most marketable assets and was a wanted man during last month’s transfer period.

Leicester City had tabled a £6.5m bid that was turned down. Foxes boss Sven Goran Eriksson, heavily backed by Thai owner Vichai Raksriaksorn, was later critical of the way the offer became public knowledge — with the finger being pointed at Ibrox.

It is also believed that Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish was interested as attacking players like David Ngog, Raul Meireles and Joe Cole left Anfield — before Craig Bellamy returned to Merseyside.

ROUND YE LAWWELL

{Ed007's Note - Is that the same Daily Mail that reported about Steed Malbranques ill son? Other papers have reported about Rangers financial worries and you ignore them but you choose believe a rag that has a lower reputation that the S*n. Either you believe red tops or you don't, you can't just pick and choose what to believe to suit your own agenda. Funny that it took a week for these e-mails to surface, surely it wasn't from a Rangers employee to cover their tracks? How can an anonymous third party send an e-mail? You need an e-mail address to send one so it will hardly be anonymous. Total spin and garbage from Rangers and the Daily Mail!! Liverpool had and have absolutely no interest in Jelavic what so ever.}

Believable6 Unbelievable9

As I tried to explain to your stupid compadre earlier...

TRY READING THE ARTICLEYA EEJIT!

It STILL doesn't state who made the bid!

So that tit Jardine writes "..a Third party acting for an EPL club.." so that makes it real! HAHA

Let me makeit crystal clear.

NAE BID + NAE INTERSETED CLUB = TOTAL B****CKS!

HH
/BB {Ed007's Note - The story doesn't add any credence to the original, just because some journalist says he saw e-mails? And like I said, it is the Daily Fail.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Ed007 , these characters want to pick and choose what stories they want to believe , Tony , WATP and all the other Rangers posters who are burying their heads in the sand , the stories of your teams tax cases and debts are TRUE , the baliffs have payed yous a visit , the Jelavic story is a bit sus , if it was true he would have been sold , in your current financial situation he would have been sold , and no one would have blamed Rangers , Mr White has been left a pig in a poke , and obviously promised Ally £15m to lure you lot into buying season tickets , it was never going to happen , and you can believe that , although you probably wont .

Agree0 Disagree0

Just to rub salt in your wounds, someone posted that on my Facebook page with a link, and clicked it and the page had been pulled lol so this adds no truth to this unamed team lol, you are all a joke clinging on to any hope you have left lol

Latest on Rangers from guys in the know (yep one of those). 1. It has been confirmed that Rangers' bank accounts have been frozen by the bank today. 2. If they don't pay HMRC the small bill that they owe them by Monday, they will be placed into administration. The big bill is still pending. 3. Should that happen, all season tickets, VIP boxes, game packages, etc, will be null & void. 4. They will not be allowed any credit facilities, so it will be 'cash only' gates at Ibrox. 5. Rangers faxed a letter to the
bank yesterday, saying that Liverpool made a £9M bid for Jelavic, so that they could register him as a £9M asset with the bank. Apparently, Kenny Dalglish went nuts, as no such offer was made by Liverpool. They are consulting their lawyers & considering legal action. 6. Some are say that Rangers have played their last league game! However, if this was to happen, watch the Scottish Gov step in to bail them out!
No income tax no VAT
no money back no guarantee
Murray or Whyte, it's all the same
the shame are going... down the drain

This is rubbish you think rangers will go into administration your in dreamland

Agree0 Disagree0

Another moron who doesn't understand the ramifications for the rest of the game if Rangers go out of business. Thats from a fellow Celtic fan btw.

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesnt matter what anybody says truth of the matter is that the tax man will have his pound of flesh. rangers may get away with the little bill but you can only run away from the tax man for so long. rangers WILL go into administration however expect they will be saved from going bust by some idiot. Celtic will survive without them and scotland will be a better place without the bigotry, hatred and cheating of "the shame" rfc dont rest in peace. madmac

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigotry hatred cheating we all know both sides are responsible for that scotland need the old firm thats where they make there money if rangers go bust it will affect the spl no revenue from old firm games smaller spl clubs make there money when both sides visit there ground so before u start bumpin ur gums about how good it would be for rangers to go bust think of ur own club and how it will effect them to {Ed007's Note - There is a difference between administration and liquidation}

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't say they would go bust the Orange lodge will rescue them lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Much as I enjoyed the content of the original post, I think the poster needs to get real. This "person in the know" was presumably the same one sending the texts today. Much as I'd like to see Rangers struggle on for years (and think they may wll do given the larger bill), lets be realistic for a minute. Firstly, as we know it is a matter of fact that HMRC have ring fenced funds against the small tax bill, presumably there must have been a few beans to ring fence (not many mind or they wouldnt have felt the need to do so), secondly as we know that Rangers are now Wavetower FC rather than Lloyds FC I doubt the bank will be overly concerned at his point and even if Rangers have to borrow they wont go into administration for the sake of £2.5 million. And finally and most crucially,
banks do not take emails from clubs about (supposed) past bids for players in order to establish a valuation and an asset. Even if that bid were true he was only worth it at the time and his value may well be different next time round. He and other squad members cannot be sold until the next window either. Any reputable bank will look at assets (including players) as a whole against liablities. Posts such as this one only deflect from some of the more subsantial stories surrounding te perrilious state of the evil empire. Keep it real folks!

Agree0 Disagree0

To the Comment above: My post was obviously a joke. The same one doing the rounds on the text that's why I added in the "(yep one of those)" and also why it ends with the Only Fools and Horses theme. Keep it real comments are kind of unnecessary. I think most people know that the original post is 99% bulls**t and working for HMRC I am perfectly aware that they can't be placed in administration on Monday but I thought that other people would appreciate the comment an recognise it for what it is. A piss take.

Anyways am away back to Dreamland ;)
