Celtic are said to be monitoring Martin Braithwaite, 22 year old winger/attacking midfielder from Denmark. Couple of English teams looking at him as well.

He isn't a striker, though. His scoring record doesn't have to be great.

Ak Geri is correct, we actually need the guys he listed - ie: A replacement for kelvin, a replacement for Victor, and a replacement for G Hooper. This is effectively the spine of the team and needs to be strengthened properly, not just patched up. jean-Pierre Laguerre

Whatever happened to our interest in Juan Agudelo? I've seen Stoke have been linked with him. Still seems to be scoring goals in the MLS.

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has confirmed his interest in signing USA international Juan Agudelo.
The Potters have been strongly linked with a move for the 20-year-old striker in recent weeks and now Hughes has confirmed he is looking to land the player.
"We are hopeful of progressing that, " Hughes is quoted by The Sentinel.
"There seems to be a willingness from most sides.
"He's a good young player and we feel he's got potential and we would like that to happen."
Agudelo is out of contract in December and reports in America claim that he has already penned a pre-contract with Stoke.
Indeed the player has hinted that is the case, as he is quoted by the Boston Globe as saying: "Right now I'm focused on playing with the Revolution, but, I mean, everyone knows what I signed."
Hughes is hopeful of bringing in further reinforcements before the start of the season and reports in Germany claim that Stoke are in Germany to hold talks with Hannover over long-term target Mame Biram Diouf.

Doesn't sound anywhere near a done deal? Surely worth going back in for him. Was it him that pulled the plug on him moving to us, did we drag our heels or did it just fizzle out?
