Rangers to get sued for their legal bill for fighting the case over their sectarian singing.Tomorrows Herald.Another bill hits the doorstep that they can't pay.

Believable12 Unbelievable4

I'm sure that the will will be paid immediately just the same as Super Sally got a £15 million transfer budget.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why should we be concerned about what is going to happen over the road ,what happens with them will happen we should be more concerned about what is happening at our own club ,i for one am starting to worry neil is not up to the job after what was a promising start ,we were well beaten in europe and are not playing well at all .

Just read that Sivaspur have signed Rasmussen on year long loan deal, with option of signing him for 2m euro, good bit of business by celtic. I make that 7 players out on loan, ok not all on big wages but even if we have saved £70k a week that will be good. hail hail Timalloy

Believable11 Unbelievable2

That is an incredible piece of business because we only paid £1-1.5 million for him and if I'm not mistaken 2 million euros is about £1.75(?).

Actually making a profit on flops is a knack I thought only Rangers were jammy enough to have!

IslandBoy

p.s. Well done on deadline day ed, that must have been mental! {Ed007's Note - Yeah mate, it was pretty hectic. Thanks.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope he does well cause I liked him. Seemed to have an instinct for scoring goals. If we get some money for him then all the better.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good bit of business? cant believe im hearing this nonsense! He should never of been loaned out in the first place as he is far better than stokes and samaras. Get a grip

Anyone booked up for the away games in europe yet who udine or rennes. Any good deals?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Yeh mate, a very good deal is stay at home and save your cash as yous will getr hammerd.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we may get 'hammered' but atleast we will be welcomed back unlike you lot who canny attend their grannies without starting a fight.

looking forward to beachball sunday passports bermuda shorts shades water wings lie lo's bring it on

Believable14 Unbelievable2

Ha i wouldnt dare do that, it would only EMBARRASS us more, we dont deserve to be in it, the worst team got in through the back door, the better team won, why celebrate as if wer in it through merit when wer not.... {Ed007's Note - The better team won through cheating! What is so difficult about that? They knowingly broke the rules, ignored UEFA and were subsequently expelled from the tournament. All teams that have been caught cheating face consequences that is why there are rules. Why did you put embarrass in capital letters? I mostly see capitals in mid sentence when reading the Rangers pages, are you lost or confused?}

Agree0 Disagree0

I was a bit sceptical about being reinstated but if u think of it logically feindouno scored 2 goals for them when he was one of the players that was ineligible so i'll defo take it

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed youve changed your tune a little, I recall on the night you saying you hope the other team won their case as your lot was shocking, a little bit of cxontradiction there ED {Ed007's Note - I never said I hoped the other side won their case, never. I said I would rather we had went through on our own merit, it wasn't an ideal way to qualify, but if Sion broke the rules they deserved to be expelled and us reinstated. I have always said the same and still do. We are in it because Sion broke the rules, if UEFA think that, what are CFC meant t do? If they refused to play then CFC would face UEFA sanctions.}

Agree0 Disagree0

At the end of the day its 11 v 11 and the mighty sion were far better than yous if your club had any class they would have declined to go back in JMGERS

Agree0 Disagree0

We have had many dodgy penalties down the years in the CL and cost us big time, Juve,Lyon,Moscow, Man Utd. So you know what I don't care if we got in through the back door. Justice was served

Richybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are we coming in the back door..if its anywhere, i would defo say down the chimney like santa with a £5m pressie. And, Ed is right - it would be very much frowned upon by uefa not to take the place offered and we would face sanctions. But..some are more used to the wrath of UEFA than others !

apparently there are 3 turkish clubs in for Rasmussen with bursapor leading the chase, source videocelts.com. Also it is being suggested that middlesborough are lining up a loan bid.

Big mistake playing samaras in front of him

Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura...remember that name, would not be surprised if he follows mo bangura to parkhead. Team mates at AIK and another club in sweden plus international team mates and best friends. He is more prolific though and may end up beyond our reach financially if he keeps it up. {Ed007's Note - He has just signed for Bursaspor in Turkey during the window.}

Believable0 Unbelievable8

:D was moving bangura to celtic on fifa and had to google which one of the two we signed :D

hi ed any news of the sion appeal i see celtic have still not got europa fixtures up yet {Ed007's Note - The games will be underway before Sion have any hearing regarding their appeal.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Ed what do u mean by the games will be underway before any hearing will happen?
The way I read it is that we'll actually play a uefa game then the hearing will take place? But surely if any hearing will take place it will be before any games KO?? Please advise Ed {Ed007's Note - The actual date of any hearings has yet to be established. The games start next week so the chances of anything happening before then are very slim.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok, but that being the case, Sion can't be re-instated in the competition whatever happens, can they? {Ed007's Note - I seriously doubt it. The main point is that it is UEFAs competition, so it is there rules.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it not more likely they will postpone the fixture until it has been resolved. {Ed007's Note - That could throw the logistics of the entire competition into disarray. The teams they have played in the Swiss league have also lodged complaints with the Swiss FA supposedly.}

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no chance they will get in though, if they did the madrid udinesie and rennes will all report them, thats why on there websites they had celtic in the group after the draw.

suppose if u win the masters thats another STAR on ur manky shirt!! LOL ;)

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Not enuff room left, keep winning these damn titles, sorry...

Agree0 Disagree0

Your stars mean nothing......come back when you win the big cup!

DazzaBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

5 stars = over 50 years of failure in europe !

Agree0 Disagree0

You guys should have 4 then cos 40 yeard of failure after you's beat shettleston juniors etc in 1967 :D {Ed007's Note - We do what the big clubs do and put stars for European trophies. Foreigners laugh when you tell them Rangers have stars for winning the league, they have never heard of anything so stupid.}

Agree0 Disagree0

They will never get the big cup god bless big jock and the lisbon lions

Agree0 Disagree0

Edd you're lot are foriegners "technically"....top of the mornin to ya my son...and before ye say it paddy so are the French.....LOL....4iar...ye really should post this one.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed am I right in saying the first club to put a star on their shirts was Juventus and that was for winning the league. Aberdeen have 2 stars for their European cups Rangers have 5 stars for 50 league titles Celtic have 1 star for the european cup in 67.
There is no set rule for using stars in your club crest as long as you have won a cup you have the right to celebrate/remember it. {Ed007's Note - I never said there was any rule. I suppose CFC could put four little stars under the big gold one though, but how stupid and petty would that be? Almost laughable.....}

hi ed do u know if Daniel Majstorovic will miss the first europa league game or will the red card be void {Ed007's Note - His red card stands and he is banned for the first game.}

Believable10 Unbelievable4

Thank f**k for that a complete and utter liability. for a guy his size he has no command of the air can't tackle and even in the opposition box for the amount of headers he gets absolutely shockin shots on target ratio

It would appear that the good news just keeps on coming /
