He's going to rangers I heard training pitches and facilities not upto scratch mmmmm
Zenden would improve the team no doubt on the short term.The power rangers would,nt sign him so maybe he is passed his worst..but we are going to find out.

Would rather once and for all get a solid Centre half instead of getting people like Lunjberg n Zenden. Zenden will want abot £20k a week also surely we could get a solid CB for that ?

Celtic are considering a surprise move for former Dutch international Bolo Zenden. Neil Lennon will run the rule over the 35-year-old in training over the next few days but no deal has been agreed between the two parties. Zenden, who left Premier League side Sunderland in the summer, would add plenty of experience to Neil Lennon’s side having played over 50 games for the Dutch national team. (STV website) - Mrs E
No offence to Zenden or anyone else but do we not remember the debacle that was Freddie Ljungberg? Same age, same type of player and totally useless and waste of money.
When will Lennon learn that this type of signing doesnt get the fans excited.

I've heard that Bolo Zenden is training with Celtic! Is he the answer?
Probably not. Hasn't lasted 90 min for a long time and is pretty fragile injury wise. At Sunderland he used to be either hooked or made a short sub appearance.
Bit of an impact player anyway mind you so I guess if his wages are nominal he could be a decent acquisition as the lad has talent but equally I could see this one ending up as the Ljungberg deal did last year. Genuinely torn in between on this one.
Why? where does he improve the team? Am I and every sane person missing something? The area needing immediate repair is defence not a midfield and last third. Even then he most certainly wouldn't improve what we have. If NL thinks this (freddie mark 2) is the answer then switch the lights off. btw Ed, going to bed as need to be up at 8 for the stupid 12 k/o, always thinking about the fans eh! . why?
