Apparently we have had a million pound bid rejected for McGeady. Disappointed if this is true. He has had his time with Celtic and both he and the club have moved on. No thanks.

Absolute rubbish why are people posting this. The last thing we need is a winger.We just bought Mckay Steven as far as my opinion on Mcgeady wouldn't even give Greek Euros for a winger that can't cross his legs nevermind a ball

Have to say I was hoping for an attacking wide man, ideally a goalscoring wing forward. I think Johansen, Commons, Armstrong and Rogic are more suited down the middle. That only really leaves us with GMS, Forrest and Stokes. The latter two I think we need to be looking for better and Boerrigter looks done. I'm all up for a playing style where the front four might not have strict positions but fill in the gaps (just search clairefontaine in the page search I remember Ed giving a good lecture). Perhaps that's what we'll go but I would still like to see a more naturally suited wide man.

We already had a bid accepted for Jell Vossen. So if we are pulling out it is not because we don't think he is worth 2 million.

BBC reports they are not willing to match the asking price 3 million euros = around about 2 million pounds mate therefore they don't rate him as a 2 million pound player

Must be true then if the BBC reports it lol. They accepted a bid from us and a contract offer as put on the table for vossen. So if he's not coming to Celtic then its down to the player and not the clubs valuation of him. I'm I right ed or am I babbling here 😄

Think we're jumping the gun a bit here. As ed has said repeatedly Genk have accepted a bid. It looks to me like the player is happy to leave us hanging in the hope an epl club come in.

Don't get me wrong this lad has got a bright future but is he really any better than what we have right now? is he going to improve the team am not so sure. if he was to come on loan he'll be wanting to start every week and how is that going to make the rest of the midfield feel when a 16 year old lad is on the team sheet before them not sure this is a good move, also am gutted we have pulled out of the race for Vossen.
