Hey Ed have you heard anything regarding Finnbogason? If we are linked with a 6million move for this Vaughn surly we should be having a punt on Finnbogason? I'd love to see this lad in the green and white wish just once PL would give the fans what they want.

{Ed007's Note - I really can't see it happening now, we missed the boat there. Finnbogason has attracted recent interest from West Ham, Newcastle and Cardiff and there is still a chance that Fulham may also look to him. Like Sunderland, Hannover and Mainz before them, CFC has turned their attentions elsewhere for the time being.
Having seen NLs interview today talking about bringing players in during January in the hope they are ready to play in June/July for us, I'm assuming none of his January targets will be going to the World Cup. I'm already questioning the calibre of player he is talking about, by assumption it is lower English league players.
I just hope we as fans aren't left disappointed again.}
We are looking really silly now because the Board (or manager) never signed the proper players back in the Summer.
We are out of Europe and chasing a striker in January - when it's impossible to get a decent player without being fleeced or blackmailed by wee diddy teams. I saw Lennon on TV today actually admitting to watching Vaughn at Huddersfield among others.
Naming other clubs players publicly is unprofessional and tacky and makes us look amateurish.
I hope to God the club has learned from the disastrous transfer season we have had this year,

Cheers Ed just one more thing what do you think our chancese are of putting a bid in for Gary McKay Stevens? Just had a wee look at a snip bit in the paper a few days ago it was about Ryan gauld but Lennon said united have a lot of exciting young players am I just looking into this to much? I think united would take the mince over the transfer fee for starters if you could give me you opinion I'd be greatful

{Ed007's Note - I don't know about any bid for GMS but there is a rumour kicking around that we have approached Dundee Utd over Gauld with a view to signing him in January but leaving him at Utd for the rest of the season. Deals like that are very uncommon in Scotland although they are becoming more popular in England (Zaha to Utd is one example). I heard it last night but dismissed it then and probably still would.}
Mackay Steven is no better than we have already but think Gauld could become a great player, would put him at the very top of our transfer targets.
Deff take gauld we really must try our best to sign this bhoy.
I'm really excited about the talent at united. I like how the boy gauld plays with his head up, always looking to create, has a great touch too. He IS going to be a great player. We can't let him go to another team, also would make Armstrong and ceftci priority signings too.
