Based on their handling of the rangers situation, their handling of the sevco newco situation. The fact sevco are leaking publicly that they intend to appoint banned directors. Based on the recent 48hrs early closure of Uefa transfer window. Based on the unbelievable incredulous reappointment of EBT beneficiary Campbell Ogilvie as SFA president/ chairman. Based on the ridiculous non punishments to Charles green and Ally McCoist for seriously bringing the game into disrepute. Based on the apparent CEO going along with green that sevco is the same club as old RFC with same history.

NO THE SFA ISN'T FIT FOR PURPOSE.

Agree3 Disagree0

It's a very poor and ineffectual governance organisation as it regularly breaks its own (and UEFAs) written regulations in its dealings with rangers/sevco. The country awaits with bated breath the next shameful episode with the allowing of old RFC banned directors to return to Ibrox.

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't want to just say NO for the sake of it but the evidence is not good!

The transfer window closing 2 days before most of Europe.

The handling of the RFC liquidation.

No Sponsor to replace Clydesdale Bank.

The state of the National game.

Previously the handling of the Jorge Cadete transfer.

Agree2 Disagree0

Basrd on their dealing's with THE Rangers over the past 2 year's and Celtic over many year's. No I don't. But then it's the country we stay in, just watch Rangers NEW committee.

My personal view is that a lot of celtic fans not us all but a lot by continuing to acknowledge r f c /t r f c or sevco is partly keeping them alive we should not be looking in the direction of this league 1 side cause we have no history with them. Second point is that peter Lowell, niell Doncaster and regan and whoever sevco had involved wanted and needed rangers to survive simply because of the tv money if I was wrong then rangers would not be involved in the current deal because if we are all correct and they did die then there is no such thing as the old firm apart from the history books we would be on our own us against the rest of spl spfl that would have probly changed the voting structure and the introduction of 50/50 gate receipts yeah we have the champions league or European league as I prefer to call it after all there is more runners up an 3rd 4th place teams in it than champions but that's another argument but with the possibility of no tv or greatly reduced tv money less gate money the fans who only support celtic and rangers for the old firm games and believe me they exist falling away from games the lack off attracting top players then the European money would dry up as well but then that's just my take on things {Ed007's Note - Here is what FIFA had to say on the 26th December 2012:

'Rangers’ perilous financial position had been an open secret but there was still shock when, after 140 years of history and a world record 54 league titles, the club was consigned to liquidation in mid-June. The Glasgow giants were subsequently reformed as a new company and granted entry to the Third Division, Scotland’s fourth tier, which they currently lead by nine points with a game in hand.'

The corruption, favouritism and rule-bending would never be tolerated in any other European League and Italy, France and Turkey have had to deal with all sorts of breaches and violations.
Our own government(s) and ALL media have repeatedly failed to ask relevant questions and challenge any perceived wrong-doing.
Therefore in my opinion the SFA only do it because they always get away with it.

Nice one ed, you only needs to look on uefa site and there is no mention of a rangers mens football team, uefa do not recognise them, so it matters not what the sfa stance is {Ed007's Note - It's a nonsense and the BS about it being 'the company that went bust' goes against the rules of player registration. Players are registered (and contracted) to a football club, if it was the same club then the players wouldn't have been given an option to TUPE over to The Rangers/Sevco. Their contracts with the football club became null and void because of it entering liquidation, Celtic players never needed to TUPE over when we got new owners. Look at clubs like Motherwell who successfully came through administration and had to make players redundant (was it the club or the company that employed those players) compared to Gretna who were forced into administration and then liquidation.
There is not one shred evidence anywhere to say they are the same club, there is precedent set, rules of liquidation and business laws all saying what we all know, The Rangers/Sevco are Scotland's newest club. Even Rangers fans knew that without exiting administration through a successful CVA, liquidation meant the end of their 140 year history.}

Agree0 Disagree0

That's the problem ed007 nobody has ever come out and said they were reformed as a new club it is always a new company therefore giving them self room to back track and use the club and company are different statement don't you think. jm {Ed007's Note - If it is the same club why did they need to apply to join the league? Does every club that changes owners need to re-apply to join their league..... How many clubs have ever needed to re-apply for their league status? Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd have all changed owners in recent years, even Celtic too, did any them have to be voted back into the league set up? The old original Rangers even had a vote on The Rangers/Sevco getting into the SPL. Charles Green, Walter Smith, Richard Gough, Jim Traynor etc have all said it as well.}

Agree0 Disagree0

So ed007 do you agree that if us the new co or the sfa, spfl advertise for the return of the old firm derby when new co come into the spfl or our directors try to inflate the ticket price for the season the rangers come into the spfl then it would be false advertising and blatant robbery by our club to increase ticket cost jm {Ed007's Note - No I don't agree that CFC are robbing anyone, they are not, nor ever will be, responsible for anything The Rangers/Sevco, the SFA or the SPFL might say when they eventually make their debut in the top tier of Scottish football. The Rangers/Sevco need CFC more than we need them.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said ed, if it was the company that went bust for non payment of Paye, among other things, then it follows that the players were part of the company and the "club" is an empty shell. If the players were employed by the club, then the same thing applies. Oh, and why are the gates still up? Surely that's false advertising, but there is a lot of that down govan way

Agree0 Disagree0

Well ed007 you could be correct but let's just wait and see and not have double standards if and when this team get back to spfl and sky bt tv celtic or any one else mentions the return of the old firm derby I hope there is a huge boycott of the game and any mention of them within season tickets then boycott them as well might seem harsh but I only support the club and for me that dose not include directors they suites of this country only care about them self and there wallets

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a Ukrainian international aged 28 decent enough for the SPL but not CL class

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a player, big and skillful.

Hope that we have a look at him, he would be a good addition.
