The whole of your current squad will be playing in the masters next year as your club will no longer exist. We'll see who you "follow follow" then ya daftie.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that going to stop the taxman I THINK NOT, masters football means f**kall son, go get a life

Agree0 Disagree0

You wish lol .
When I see you celtic I think of runners up.
Your Just Not Good Enough. Your Just Not Good Enough.
Be a man and post a name lol ha ha ha.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol ''the masters mean nothing'', perhaps being current champions, being champions for the last 3 years and winning plenty of other trophies along the way and winning 54 titles means something ya dafty. Rangersforme. {Ed007's Note - Please tell me you are not comparing winning the Masters to winning a league title?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Followfollow81, least you post a name, but tell that to all the other un named bears who come on here LOL Timalloy
PS check the trophy cabinet tomorrow or whyte will have it pawned!

Agree0 Disagree0

Am sure the guys is not comparing the both but it proves 1 thing we were better thanm use years ago and are still better now... {Ed007's Note - Read what he says again. The Masters does mean nothing, so why compare it to league wins? Of course I don't have your impeccable skills for mind reading as you could deduce what he meant to be so sure, I tend to take things more literally and leave occult practises for others. And as for your SIMPLES sign off, I deleted that, we prefer to keep the conversation to an intelligent/funny level without resorting to childish, annoying crap.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy he will not pawn the trophies he will go on a website where you can get cash for silver. We must be able to get a few quid for the trophies we've got lol.

Ed007, I hope everyone doesn't think I'm getting special treatment? I did post the first one on the banter page but for some reason it went on the rumours page. Go easy on me everyone. Lol.
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - No probs mate, you are more than welcome on here for some craic. I can post things in either page, I thought it was more a banter topic to get folk winding each other up.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, I must admit this site you can come on here and have banter. On the Rangers one whoever goes on it and posts out of turn they get abuse. I put that down to Rangers not having a regular Ed or is that due to us not offering the right wages lol. Keep up the good work Ed007.
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - I can't edit the Rangers site, it is the only one out of them all that I can't (100% true). I do read the pages though and it does seem if you don't agree with what Rangers fans want to hear you are one of 'them' or a 'timothy'. I find it all rather childish TBH, and I will say that if you leave a name, it helps people know if you are a CFC fan or a Rangers fan, including myself. If I'm not sure if it a CFC fan with an opinion on the club/player, or a Rangers fan at the wind up, I just delete it. Thanks for the praise BTW and as for wages LMAO, this is my hobby, I do this through my love of CFC (hatred of Rangers lol) and football in general, all of us Eds do this voluntarily and work it around jobs and personal/family commitments. Some are lucky enough to be able to keep the sites rolling without to much disruption to our jobs/life, others give what ever time they can.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy and followfollow81 why not leave a real name and grow a pair. paddy

Agree0 Disagree0

Aw Paddy, how do you know that is not my real name Timothy Patrick Aloyious Malloy
Followfollow81 his mum's a math teacher and his dad a private eye hence his name (by the way left a wee message on gers site for you hail hail )

Agree0 Disagree0

Just as i thought. would you like some cheese? paddy

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope there is no prize money on offer ? the hmrc will ring fence that too ! as for the masters, who cares ? seriously, a bunch of fat ex pros playing 5 a sides , get a grip. i wonder why mr whyte doesnt just pay the bill, its only a few million after all, and only the starter. hes minty part 2, he has very little cash, another charlatan who looks like he hasnt a clue

Agree0 Disagree0

Evening ed was on the Rangers rumours page there and somebody has posted that Celtic are floating shares on the London stock exchange,and it will raise £183m with Desmond still being the majority shareholder,have you heard anything or is it just drivel? MACCA {Ed007's Note - First I have heard MACCA. Last month Brian Duffy, the European president of Ralph Lauren bought £21,000 worth of shares (50,000 at 42p each) taking his total share holding to 1575,000 ordinary shares. I doubt he would have done this if there was going to be a floatation. This follows on from the announcement earlier this year that RL had become CFCs first official suit supplier.}

Interesting news regarding our backroom staff. A friend of mine works at parkhead, he phoned me earlier today to tell me celtic are trying to get carlos valderama on the coaching staff. He claims we have been impressed by the work being carried out at his soccer accademy in the states, and hes been sounded out about working with the youths, and eventually our first team.

My mates a very reliable source, same source i used to reveal our attempts at signing wayne bridge and filip sebo.

Mon the hoops

how does a plc board differ from other teams? i'm a bit ignorant to that stuff.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Any PLC be it football or not will always have the shareholders at its heart. This means that the club will be run as a business and making a profit is a high priority. Teams like man city and chelsea have no need to make profits as they are effectively soul traders where one man puts his own money in. When it comes to transfers people keep saying "Dermot Desmond is a billionaire he should give us more money" but because we are a plc he would have to buy the equivalent amount of shares. If he owns more than 30% of the clubs shares then he would be FORCED to takeover due to stock exchange rules. This is why Celtic do not buy megabucks players, they have a moral and a corporate obligation to their shareholders.

Agree0 Disagree0

In other words we follow financial restraints where as over at Ipox they ploughed money into players they couldn't afford and are now paying for it as the man in charge decided not to pay their tax properly.

Agree0 Disagree0

There are however ways around this "restriction" as we witnessed when Robbie Keane was partly bankrolled by the two aforementioned billionaires. If we were in the EPL how long does anyone think DD would leave it before buying CFC with O'Brian ?

Agree0 Disagree0

If we got into the epl they probably wouldnt buy celtic because at that point we would be bringing in the 30-40 million in tv revenue also i think merchandise sales and season ticket sales would go through the roof but then again they could possibly buy it before some sheik or russian buy us up but only if we got into the epl which will never happen unless we quit the spl and start in the confrence or johnsons paint league

do all of you know that we have 2 billionaire investers in the club the other being denis o 'brian who is reportdly worth 6 billion pounds dermot desmond is worth 2 billion

Believable12 Unbelievable6

M8 its a plc board dont matter how much the dudes worth, he cant just invest money, and we spent more on 1 player than rangers did aw transfer window so wat y moaning for, as a said a few weeks back there is to much dead wood at celtic the now, as soon as they go players will replace them stephenmiller1967

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we also have the son of the owner of GAP as a shareholder but doesn't mean he will put money into the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

The personal wealth of the shareholders is irrelevant as they can not simply give us money to buy players. This would be an example of a scenario.... Dermot Desomd or Dennis O'brien approch the stock exchange to purchase a further 10m of Celtic shares, this deal is done, the money cant simply be spent on players. Because of our PLC status any serious spending is put before the board of directors who are there to act on the shareholders behalf. They would be morally and corporatley obliged to run the club in the best interests of growth and dividend payments. Its far more complicated than one of our big two going "here, there's 40m, get stuck into the shame".....although i wish it was like that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers spent over 4m in the transfer market ... who did we sign for 4m?

Also, Dermot desmond is worth 1.4bn and denis o'brien is worth 1.3bn so you're a bit off on your calculations {Ed007's Note - When did Rangers spend 4 million? Not this summer.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ortiz 500,000 Wallace 1.5m, Goian 500,000, Bocanegra 500,000, Bedoya 300,000, McKay 600,000, Bartley 250,000 = Total 4.1m {Ed007's Note - And how much money came in for Bougherra, the cut of the C*****e A**m fee, development fee for Arteta (as a Rangers fan you do know Rangers were due money from his sale??). Rangers net spend was not 4.1m. You probably don't believe me so have a read at this plus add a development fee for Arteta brings the net spend to roughly 500-600k, I think you will agree it falls well short of the 15 million 'warchest':

I'm a Scotland man through and through but why is it everytime something happens we try to blame it on everyone else.

Yes the penalty was never a penalty , but the tackle from Adam in the first half was. Also the manager coming out a slagging the ref for his decision has to be looked at by the media , any time lennon has pointed it out he has been paranoid .

Derek Johnstone said the player was a cheat . i will say i agree with him but it stinks of double standards as every other week he is sticking up for naysmith saying things like he was riding the tackle or some other excuse. Also to come out with that they should look at Hutton every time anyone went near him he fell to the ground even without anyone touching him.

All i'm saying is people in glass house's shouldn't toss stones. If lennon gets classed as a sore loser so should Levine.

Believable17 Unbelievable8

If you look at the tackles on hutton he gets hit every time, the guy way curly hair was an animal and your broony was lucky to stay on the park!

Agree0 Disagree0

A couple of valid points in there,but here is our problem. This is not about Celtic or Rangers its about SCOTLAND (you know the wee place we all live in?)The ref had a shocker and I for one am glad Levine said so on the box, the main problem is that you cant critise Refs even when they have a nightmare like he did. Fifa should allow some kind of appeal system against Refs and when they are so wrong as he was, they should lose match fees, suffer some kind of ban maybe similar to a red card suspension for a player?

Agree0 Disagree0

Scotland have as good a team as they have fielded in 15 years. The ref had a good game and called a big decision incorrectly. I think he may have been unsighted. The player went down just like our boy did a few minutes later but the ref called it right as he had a clear view. No complaints from Berra. Bottom line is CL had better players than them and he lost 4 points out of 6 to them. Effectively we are out. If anyone is to blame its not the ref or the players. CL called it badly in Prague and Scotland gave them far too much respect yesterday...where was Forrest for example!! CL said the responsibility was his and so it was..time for him to go. MON for Scotland manager....:)

Agree0 Disagree0

Unreal you cant have been watching the game if you thought the ref had a good one. As for the MON man love cut it out he has got bigger and better fish to fry than Scotland. Get behind the team!

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for your well considered reply...try taking the blinkers off

Agree0 Disagree0

If it was lennon saying those things about the ref every1 of u would b on here backing him up,,,so shut up and defend ur country we got cheated out of 3 points no matter wot way u look at it {Ed007's Note - Has it ever occurred to you that not everyone who visits the sites is Scottish?}

Agree0 Disagree0

If the blinkers comment was for me. I have an idea for you try opening your eyes, at least a foot clear space when their player went down.Clearly shown on the replays the contact on Berra. I am always open to debate but you appear to think you have a momopoly on being right. Try taking a deep breath and engaging your brain before you open your mouth,or at least watch the replays

Agree0 Disagree0

Does Naismith dive every week? Both us and yourselves have had our fair share of divers over the years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Was it only rangers and ex rangers, playing for scotland on saturday? just saying coz they were the only names i saw on the original post! start looking at a bigger picture

You are telling people to 'shut up and defend you country', not everyone on here is Scottish. If Scotland got 'cheated' as you say, then the SFA could follow their usual line regarding poor refereeing and say that these thing always balance themselves out? Maybe the ref done a 'Dougie', it might have been a genuine mistake like McDonald made.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a scottish and Gers fan, Wee naismith has been struggling for form since the season started and CL still picked him, to publicly state that chris commons was not getting picked due to loss of form was something that I don't think helps anyone, with the call offs I thunk we could have been doing with commons off form or not {Ed007's Note - Why say in your other posts that you are a Spurs fan and slag off Scottish football? Another very sad, delusional and confused individual.}
