Celtic supposedly sounding out David Moyes for the summer as RD is on a year rolling contract.

Read a few times today that he's on a rolling contract is it definite? I know Lennon was, hopefully he is!

He is on a rolling contract, for a year, so it doesn't matter if we were to sack him tomorrow or in July - he still gets 12 months salary! Every day is the start of a new 1 year rolling contract! It suits the club better in that if he is sacked they aren't liable for say 3/ 4 years! If the manager gives his notice he has to stay for 1 year! Or the club he's going to has to pay the years salary to Celtic if they agree to let him go early!

Not a chance of Moyes taking the job especially with the budget he'd get!

Why don't you tell us your thoughts Des - you don't agree with anyone else! You said I have all the answers, well I don't but I've got an opinion, what's yours? Are you enjoying the way we're playing? Give us a bit of your insight - I love fans having different opinions to me, or in general, as long as they back it up though!

Well I'd never call for a managers head when the team are top of the league and with a home draw in the cup quarters finals maybe that's what sets me aside from some. What sort of message would it send to a prospective new manager when his predecessor is sacked when at the top? Oh and Delphic if your waiting on Moyes taking the job you're in for a very long wait. He would only take job it if was a very very very last resort.

I'm not waiting for Moyes - you said I knew everything, well I gave 10 names last week and he wasn't on the list, so get it right!

So let's hear the 10 names. Most I suspect are out of a job at the moment so their bound to be big names!

Prandelli, Bielsa, Rudi Garcia, Hitzfield, Seedorf, Mazzarri, Favre, Yakin were the 8 I said were out a job. Hiddink and Marcus Weinzeirl will be available in June! I know most would say no, but you never know! My point was there are good managers available! There's also plenty other managers that aren't seen as glamorous, - Southampton went for Pochettino who had been sacked by Espanyol. Watford took a chance on Flores, and Ranieri was begging clubs in England for a job. Watford and Leeds both blanked him even though they have Italian owners! I think we need someone with experience, at least someone who has done it in a big league where there is pressure! There was no pressure on Ronny at Stromgodset. Celtic is another world, because you do something at a small club doesn't mean you can just replicate it across the board! I don't like saying it but Warburton has done a better job in 6 months than Ronny has done with an extra year!

If we didn't spend any money in the summer but brought in a top manager on a top salary I'd be happy! It's not just about us being top of the league, it's the product we're watching, the progress we've made this season, and most disturbing for me is we have had 2 players who have done themselves justice! The West Brom fans aren't happy at staying up, they are raging at the football Pulis has them playing! It's not black and white! Well Ronny says these very words! If you're happy though it's cool, but don't be taking hissy fits because I'm not and don't agree with you!

If we had pushed the boat out we could have got Bilic a few years ago, he said he was leaving Croatia and spoke about Celtic, he ended up at Besiktas months later. The manager is the most important person at the club by far, so if you have to pay extra and save money somewhere else it's worth it.

Said it before: if we were (genuinely) looking, I'd like us to go all out to get Yakin but even if we got him I think we'd find a lot of the same issues -- both in the boardroom and the stands -- would still be there.

Hitzfield Hiddink pmsl. As for the rest I take it most are out of a job at the moment. Speaks volumes.

Whilst I agree that most are pie in the sky, being out of a job doesn't mean anything. Guardiola was out of a job when he went to Bayern. Ranieri was out of a job when he went to Leicester. Klopp was out of a job when he went to Liverpool. And so on.

I only remember you posting 3 times Des and you just hate everything else! I said to you the last time, offer up something! You don't seem to know too much, - those other managers that are out of work have good pedigrees, more importantly good experience in big leagues at big clubs! Circumstances dictate why certain managers are out of work, it's about timing. We could get a manager now that we might never normally get in a lifetime because of his situation! You would never get out of bed in the morning listening to your sort. Hiddink had agreed to come to us before, my point was he might prefer it to retirement when he leaves Chelsea. Hitzfield has been out of work since he left the Switzerland job a while ago - how do you know he wouldn't take it. What would you prefer - Forrest and Mulgrew getting a new contract or getting a top manager? I've kept it simple for you! And by the way I'd have liked nothing better that Ronny to be doing better, or even agreeing to stay under a Bielsa or another old wise head but I don't think he'd accept that! You tell me - if we played Molde again tomorrow in a qualifier, (they are only a few months away) would you be confident, I'd be less confident!
