Ed i hope when we do sell wanyama we get top dollar for him,fed up with english teams ripping us off when it comes to buying our best players,its been happeening since the days of dalglish nicholas and mclair.what do you think we will get for him {Ed007's Note - I don't really like guessing at fees but I would say between £12-15 million, a lot depends on what teams decide to bid. As a CFC fan I would like to see both Manchester clubs, Chelsea (and I know Arsenal have been watching him for a while and tried to get a deal in the summer) maybe even PSG, Anzhi and some other foreign big-hitters get into a bit of an auction for him. The EPL isn't the be all and end all for footballers and Wanyama has been getting the coverage and is considered a better option than Yann M'Vila by a lot of people inside football.}

Believable11 Unbelievable2

Who are these insiders who say he is a better option than m'vila ed007? Thats a laughable comment.

Ur being hopeful by mentioning all the big hitters money wise in europe. Only club who have bid for him so far is qpr. {Ed007's Note - Obviously you don't know much about what goes on in football. Read up on M'Vila's career over the last few months and why he is still at Rennes. Gilles Grimandi amongst others rates Wanyama higher, I'll take his word over yours any day of the week.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, do you think wanyama would turn down any move that is not to the epl? Cause I think he(as he said) wants to be the first kenyen in the epl, can he turn down a deal or is it all up to celtic where he goes? We need to get close to 20mill with add on at least and do hope for a war of bid with clubs in Europe as I think we are more likely to get more money from there then epl clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Point me in the direction of grimandi's quote saying he rates wanyama higher then? Provide the link. If its true.

If you believe some of the clubs u mentioned will be in a bidding war for him, then it seems your the one with a lack of football knowledge ed. {Ed007's Note - How the hell can I provide a link to real life? Do you think everything that goes on in football has 'a link'?
As for your second point, nowhere did I say I expect or believe a bidding war between those teams, I said I would like to see it. Please at least try reading what is written.}

Agree0 Disagree0

We go down this road with every player same with ki fans had him off to man united for 15 million flogged him for less than 6 doesnt matter how good wanyama plays in spl we wont get any more than 8 million and it def wont be to clubs like man u or barca

Yann mvila is a cracking player

id say slick is better than him marginally tho
and slick is built like the side of a t-34 tank.
built, can play the ball, tackles like his life depends on it and not scared of going for goal.
and still loads of time to learn and add to his game
mvila is just already the complete package that he is going to be imo

I see that Black is continuing where McCoist left off about refs and the tackling that they're getting in div3 . No pressure on the ref today in a must win cup tie then . The thing that's wrong with Black is that he and his other fellow bottle merchant Mcculloch is that these guys don't take any sh.te , they're not well paid preening would be footballers who think just walking on the Park is enough to justify wages. They're part timers who burst a gut just for the love of the game . Is this the same Black who chased Aiden around the park committing sneaky fouls every time they played . Or Mcculloch who sneakily done Kayal (who's not been the same since) and rolled about the Park claiming he was the victim . They really are having a laugh.......DH

This sure is the Pot calling the kettle BLACK if you pardon the pun. His whole career has been based upon being a hatchet man. Let#s hope we get the right result today.

Blacks picked up 5 booking this season already. He's got a cheek. Just an excuse for bein totally outclasses by cally midweek.

McCulloch and Black are a throw back to the stereotypical cloggers like Greig, Mckinnon, Nichol, Forsyth, Hurlock, Souness, Brown, Konterman and Moore who adorned the blue jersey, given a license to 'kick' by the officials of their day.
Now a jump up from Junior fitba they have found their level and canny 'hack' it.....

Go to Videocelts website and look at the little b,,,,,ds tackle on a Celtic player . Joe Ledley I think .......DH

I wouldnt give that little sh/tbag the benifit of calling him a hatchet man, he knows hes protected on a football pitch so decides to act like a little gangster,.,.kbarry {Ed007's Note - The painting and decorating must be taking it's toll on him as well.}
