Believable13 Unbelievable5

Wouldn't mind a Bellamy of 6 years ago but sick of players deciding to come to Celtic for an easy ride and hero status for example both Keane's. Would rather the large amount on wages went towards contract extensions or a new goal keeper or a permenant striker.

Hail Hail

Agree0 Disagree0

Man City want 2 sell Bellamy NOT loan him again West Ham are favourites to sign him

Agree0 Disagree0

Most folk on the cardiff city site are saying bellamy going to celtic is virtually a done deal, also say that goodwillies booked in for a medical at cardiff

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you turn round and say you dont want bellamy, hes double the player gary hooper will ever be, take ure head out ure a*se and wake up

Agree0 Disagree0

A few yeears ago but his knees are screwed would only play half the games if that

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance whatsoever hes signing for west ham

Agree0 Disagree0

By all accounts if Bellamy does sign it will be as a permanent player as Man City want him off their books plus I believe that Bellamy is trying to get them to cancel his contract. So hopefully that means we may be in with a good chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy who said Bellamy is double the player Hooper is, maybe a few years ago but never now, Hoopers goal to game ratio at Scunthorpe is far better than Bellamys and Hooper was in a struggling team fighting relegation, and Bellamy in a top championship team fighting for promotion, so double the player i think not my friend.

Agree0 Disagree0

The newspapers in Cardiff have Celtic picking up 75% of 90k and Bellamy training in Cardiff and flying up for games. IF (a big one) true, I would rather spend the money on keeping Izzie and Kayal happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would rather spend the money on keeping Izzie and Kayal happy.

yeah agree with this will be annoyed if one of them are soled while we blow lots of wages on bellamy who will give us 1 maybey 2 good seasons

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think we should spend huge amounts on his wages, we need to focus on bringing in young players on lower wages like we did with kayal and izzy, thats the way forward for celtic.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy has said that he wants to return to parkhead source: evening times

Celtic odds on favourites to sign Craig Bellamy with Skybet and others

Believable22 Unbelievable13

Think he would be a great signing but Bothroyd was 1/8 with skybet and that now looks unlikely However finger crossed we can get Bellamy as he would make a real difference

Agree0 Disagree0

Two things, one - its only a loan deal. And two - Bellamy actually is desperate to play for Cardiff City for one more season. But they are so far not coming up with the cash to do that. So, I'm just saying this is not a done deal yet by any means.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not a loan deal, Man City refuse to do a loan deal for him they want him off the books plus he's wanting Man City to cancel his contract so whoever he signs for it will be as a permanent transfer

Agree0 Disagree0

We were 1/8 odds on with the bookies to sign bothroyd, reliable??
I don't think so

Agree0 Disagree0

They were reluctent to do a loan deal but noone has made any offers to take him permanently and with Celtic "reportedly" offering 75% of his wages i'm 100% sure unless someone else comes in with a cash offer they will accept that. Can't see his 4mil price tag being met to be honest

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy eh? was and still is a decent player, injuries though, have, and still are, hampering his stop start career, celtic supporters should get there heads out of the clouds, they brung him in, in 2005 to push on and won the league, didnt happen, brung keane in, 2009/10 to push on and won the league, that didnt happen, 2010/11 they brung in ljunberg and commons to push on and won the league, and that still didnt happen......it's getting tiresome now

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope so cos he's crocked and will just be a very expensive squad player :-)

Hi Ed, Rumours in Liverpool about them making a move for Izaguire, have you heard any such rumours and if so, how much?...HOOPIE007.... {Ed007's Note - The fee being bandied about is £11 million. How much truth there is in the rumour is another matter mate. He has been linked with PSG, Bordeaux, MUFC and now LFC (among many others) in the last month. If I find out anything I will let you guys know right away.}

Believable9 Unbelievable10

Hi ed marty bhoy here as I said before yes I'd take the money for them both its a BUSSINESS, with that kind of money it opens the floodgates for potential transfers
specially broonie {Ed007's Note - Evening Marty, I would hate to lose Izaguirre, especially to LFC (I have been going on about him on the Man Utd site as a replacement for Evra next summer) but if that kind of money is being offered he will be leaving I would imagine.}

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be a blow if he went because then Charlie Mulgrew would have to fill in at LB again. But business is business. I miss McGeady but we got a fair price for him and Commons has proved to be a great replacement. 11 million would be tough to turn down

Agree0 Disagree0

He's the new Lee naylar, world class one season, ordinary the next.

Believable13 Unbelievable35

Agree0 Disagree0

6-8 MILLION FOR BROWN. I WILL DRIVE HIM TO SUNDERLAND MYSELF FOR THAT FEE

Agree0 Disagree0

Defo take that for brown he's a headless chicken, we have better players than him

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

CELTICNEWS,
Sunderland prepared to bid for scott brown , there offer will be hard for celtic to turn down Player plus cash or just cash its up to celtic , offer over 6m........ASWEDE

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Where did this come from, and what player would we be getting.

Agree0 Disagree0

6m more like 2m at best....he come second in a one horse title race, rangers are a bad team and celtic were runners up last three years...good team lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought it was made pretty clear that Broon was going nowhere, made by himself and the management, FFS he's gonna sign a new 5yr contract

Agree0 Disagree0

This coming from a guy whos team took el hadj diouf on loan, what a player LOL couldnt lace Broonys boots.And did Rangers not try to sign him when they bought Thompson but they couldnt, because they couldnt afford him so they got the poor mans Broony at half the price Broony cost. MACCA

todays papers talking about chance of bellamy coming back

Believable39 Unbelievable17

Past it, didnt do enough for me last season for Cardiff, and i think his wages would be to high for a player of his age.

Agree0 Disagree0

I posted that it was in the Glasgow Herald Stating this two days go but didn't get clearance from the ed for some reason old news dont want him back would prefer Shane Long {Ed007's Note - We are trying keep all the talk of the "new amigos" (Given, Bellamy and Keane) to a minimum. The pages were getting clogged up with the same stuff and we all agreed at the time. I saw that in the paper the other day as well, so I apologise to you, as it was in the press it would have been OK to post and discuss again}

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy is a poor player these days at cardiff last season was a big fish in a small pond so he looked good, at celtic years ago he came to hgelp fill the void left by larsson and couldnt manage it , it s time for celts to move on and look for new blood not old blood, i said last season young forwards was the way we should go and it would have paid off apart from inverness, keep what we have and we will run a muck this season

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy is to destructive. think he would cause to much tension in the dressing room

Not many players could fill the void left by the King of Kings.

Not sure what games you saw Bellamy playing in but your talkin trash, the man blew away the SPl inc them lot at Ibrox

Young players will not win the SPL.

Go back to cloud cookoo land ya lemon.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy is to destructive. think he would cause to much tension in the dressing room

Lenny knows what Bellamy's like & if he was destructive in the dressing room then Lenny would have seen it 1st hand when they played together.

Quality player and he would be perfect for Hooper but he'd cost too much

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Agree0 Disagree0

Cloud cookoo land aye bellamy was pure amazen eh naw he wasnt a was season ticket holder then and he was injured more than he played aye he left thebig greek for dead great still never won the title as he is clinical enough in front of goal start learning about football afore u post on here eh

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy was Man City's best player 2 seasons ago and was a stand out at Cardiff last season. Lenny knows what he's doing. Bellamy would be a revalation in this current Celtic team. A bit of experience would give a good balance. Anyone who thinks Bellamy is not a good player is clueless about football.

Agree0 Disagree0

We wont sign bellamy as we wont pay his wages we will sign a striker who is due oot of contract orwont cost lots of money lawell said we would be very vigoruise in the market this year , a heard a rumour that henri camara was in line for a move north of the boader as him and lenny are very close friends {Ed007's Note - Is that the same Henri Camara who signed for Greek side Panetolikos on 19 June 2011, after spending the previous year with Atromitos, also in Greece?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy done more than enough for us during his loan spell, he's a smashing wee player, he's done it year in year out.For a season ticket holder, ye haven't got much of a clue mate, go back de bed ye clown.

Agree0 Disagree0

Of all the rumours of "big" players coming to Celtic he is the one i'd love to see back, he is quality there's no doubt about that. On the flip side i don't see any way we can match his wages and i'm guessing Man City aint giving him away for free

Agree0 Disagree0

Another old age money grabber imo. celtic seem to have one every season a leach waste of money and a cery for an injury.

rumours going round merseyside that king kenny is going to bid £8m for brown

Believable12 Unbelievable42

Haha that is funny, scott brown is a terrible footballer, king kenny would not touch him with a barge poll. probably the most ridiculous rumor I have heard this window

Agree0 Disagree0

Brown hahahahahaha 8 million, i'd take him down myself, on my back, to get him out of scottish football altogether hahahahahahaha an attacking midfielder that has scored about 6 goals in 4 and a half years, and had 1 decent season last year against a poor rangers side, that went on to won the league for the 3rd year rolling........brown must stay, plank of wood {Ed007's Note - You have totally contradicted yourself by saying you would take him to England on your back, then saying Brown must stay?? Just to clarify though, when has Brown been regarded as an attacking midfielder?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Brown not as good as he thinks he is, if someone was stupid enough to pay over£5million, take it

Agree0 Disagree0

What a mean is, if i were a celtic fan, and any team offered even 2 million for brown, i'd take him on my back down there myself, i'm not, so i'm hoping he stays, and to correct you on the attacking midfielder sitution, he's been playing as an attacking midfielder for celtic since he's came, it's only been the tail end of last season, that they'v been playing him on the right, and even at that, going forward, he's embarrassing, and dont even get me started on his (so called defending)...he's on 25 grand a week, better players up there and around him are on far less......... {Ed007's Note - If you aren't a CFC fan why is he embarrassing you? But if we ever need anyone to give him a piggy back anywhere I will let you know.}

Agree0 Disagree0

A didnt say he was embarrasing me ed, i just think its embarrassing that some celtic fans even rate him, honestly mate, he runs about the hole 90 minutes, yeah ok, but thats just not good enough, i'd like to find out how many assists he's even had in this 4 and a half years at the club.... {Ed007's Note - If you find out let us know, that is the most dire statistic to creep up in football, it bores me to tears mate. If you put David Beckham in his prime in an Motherwell team, would their strikers top the scoring chart? The assist stat depends on the quality of striker you are crossing into etc. If you cross the ball to a Hartson/Sutton even Mark Hateley there is a chance they will get on the end of it, if your strikers aren't very good in the air, your assists ratio goes down.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah fair point there, but ur doing everything you can to back the guy up, and fair play to you, that's you'r team, but in case's like these, there's to many grey areas on this lad, to even TRY had fight his corner, av stated 4 or 5 good stats, about brown, and you had to bring in top class players, and old 1s at that, to TRY and back him up, and that to me, tells me that you, yourself, know's that brown himself, isnt worth ANYWHERE near the millions, thats getting branded about for the player.... {Ed007's Note - I have said before he needs to knuckle down and concentrate harder on the game. He has not became the player everybody expected but I still think he offers a lot to the team. Fans of every club have a whipping boy it just seems a section of the CFC fans have chosen Brown. Football needs players like him that do the hard "dirty" work, it might not be pretty or glamourous but Brown will always stand up and be counted. If NL sees him as a CFC captain, he must have something, NL knows what it takes to do that job.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok fair enough, and a do agree with the whipping boys at every club, and to be fair, he had a decent season last season, so we can wait and see what he brings to the table next season, but a still dont think he's worth a bumper new 5 year contract, he should be pleading with celtic, and the celtic fans, to give him another chance, never mind telling them not to worry, i'm going nowhere.
